oh yes both components for my NUS Law interview are finally over! I think this is the interview I fared worse at!! Absolutely disastrous!

First of all, I misread the pink form that came through mail and thought only the IB people needed to fill it up so I didn't bring it on my day of the interview! So smart! It was the form needed for registration! And then because I didn't fill that up, I didn't read the instructions on it and therefore, I didn't bring two passport size photos either. My interviewer's response to that was like, "oh, so should I still interview you?" I was like going "oops" and I just gave him a weak smile /:

My interviewers were this very distinguished looking angmoh and another woman but because both looked real serious (esp the guy who doesn't smile at all), I was kind of unnerved by him and started crapping alot! To my horror, the words coming out of my mouth sounded damn foreign to me! haha! Suck lah! Then they asked me sth about the port number sharing for StarHub and Singtel which I had minimum knowledge on so I was really talking rubbish. And the woman knew I was crapping /: It showed so clearly on her face.

And if that's not bad enough, they happened to ask me what my single degree choices are! Unfortunately, my first choice was Business and second was Law and they were quite shocked and started bombarding me with questions revolving around the issue of whether I was truly interested in law since I was obviously more interested in Business.

The writing part was okay! Just a case study which I felt was quite fun to do! It felt like I was reading the detective/court cases stories that I like (:

My healthy lifestyle starts today!! I'm going to:

1) stop snacking excessively on oily stuffs, chips, chocs and cookies (my Arnott's Dark Chocolate Biscuits!!)
2) opt for brown rice instead of white rice
3) try to have dinner before 1900
4) eat more fruits and vege
5) exercise!!

Today I kept to all these rules! :D wheeeeee! But I think tmr I will crumble and succumb AGAIN to all those tempting snacks lying around in my house! haha!

I'm feeling really really really tired and I'm almost typing with my eyes close now but since I'm trying to keep awake and allow my huge dinner to digest before I go have my shower (My Mom told me showering when you're still full results in a tummy), I have decided to blog! hahaha!

Spent the day with ck who's back from his three-day-two-night field camp! :) I wanted to try the new Macs breakfast so we met at Taka at nine for it but found that the Macs there wouldn't be open til ten! So we waited and waited til ten and when it finally raised the shutters, we realise Taka macs does not offer breakfast!! wth! Ended up having Long John's breakfast instead which is pretty okay but a little too oily for my liking. I didn't remember it being so oily the last time I ate it! /:

Went for tuition and hello to Christabelle, if you're reading this, I'm laughing at your composition from home! haha! ck's so sweet cause he walked all the way back to my tutee's place after my tuition ended to get me when it was scorching hot and he was sweating like mad! Plus he was armed with cold, sweet Ribena, Teddy Bear cookies and Arnotts Dark Chocolate biscuits! :D All for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I think he has the secret agenda to make me fat now that he is so skinny! Now they're all sitting on my table waiting for me to devour hee hee but NO! Next week I'm determined to be on a diet! :D My face is just like a circle now!!

After that, we caught "The Forbidden Kingdom" at Plaza Singapura! I thought it was quite nice but pretty much still a typical KungFu Jackie Chan film! Like the ending though! (: Walked around abit before we went for tea at Secret Recipe! The cakes there are godly but super duper filling! On normal days that would have been enough for my dinner but since I was with ck, we went to have Fish and Co for dinner! Gosh! You should just see how BIG my Sambal Fish was omg. Even if you give me a thousand dollars now I won't be able to stuff it down my throat. In addition to one main course each, we(read:CHANKEET) also ordered a panful of fried calamari as a side!!

So you can imagine how FULL I am now! /: hahaha!

MooMoo turns TWO today! (: Because he's a doggy and has to keep to his usual bland diet, my Mom and Sis made huge tofu meatballs for him as a treat! hahaha! Mimi, who's birthday is unknown, has no choice but to share birthday with her best furry friend! :D So she got meatballs too!

I just received a letter from NUS today informing me that I got shortlisted for an interview for the Double Degree Programme in Law and another discipline! That is really unexpected cause I put Law as my second choice after Business and wasn't really expecting to be considered for Law! /: I read online that they ask questions such as "What political criticisms do you have of the Singapore Government?" that sort of thing eh! Goodness.

I think I will just go there for the experience haha!
Five days to prepare! /:

I've been doing lots of online shopping with my sister on livejournal sprees these days! (: haha! Die ah, spending a hell lot of money (and not earning much somemore!)! Anyway, I've discovered this NEW big joy in lifeeeeeeee AND THAT IS............

Nothing more exciting than pouncing on it, tearing away the brown paper and excitedly examining if what we see in front of us is what we've imagine it to be when we saw it online!! hahaha!

Recently my sis and I just received the top and dress we got from forever21! (: Its realtively cheaper to buy forever21 stuff online than at the local retail stores so if you're interested, can go browse at http://forever21.com too!

Really bored at home and having cramps all day long too! ): Sian. So basically I just spent my day reading and watching mobtv! lol! What a no-lifer.

Met YinYee yesterday for our steak date at Bugis! (: Been owing her the steak since eons ago haha! I'm supposed to have sworn off beef but oh well, I succumbed to temptation again haha! After that, we went to town and I did some shopping while she got her watch repaired! Then I had a craving for chocolate cake so I dragged her for a mudpie at NYDC! Delicious! (: My family, particularly my greedy sister suffering from exam blues, suddenly had ALOT of cravings so I went around buying food around town! I look so greedy carrying bags and bags of snacks home! hahaha! There's the german bread my dad loves, custard bread and mochi buns from Sun Moulin, Bubbletea from Each-A-Cup (they have the best pearls), the korean sausage, ondeh ondeh from Subway Niche and a big box of Yakitori filled with sticks of chicken balls, chicken chunks and pork with asparagus! We all sure can eat man! haha!

I'm pretty happy now just giving private tuition and teaching part-time if needed! Leaves me with a lot more time for myself and I get to keep all my mornings too! But sadly, my income has been halved! ): haha! Money money I need money! :D

Anw, I met my new tutee Vanessa for the first time today! I'm taking her only temporarily while my friend is having her exams cause otherwise, I will never take a secondary school kid for Chem! haha! Reason being I actually really suck at Chem :D hahaha! Hope she doesn't see this! Anw, I was tutoring her today and I realised I've given back just about everything to Mrs Cheong!! lol! I actually forgot what the prefix for the three-carbon alkane was! Oops!! Only after I think for damn long then I remembered it was PROpane! hahaha! Paiseh lah!

Tmr gonna have to go to Jurong Primary again! There's a group of damn noisy boys there that I'd really love to box! Or maybe like wring their ears off! lol!

WHEEEEE! A day in sunny Sentosa with the boy! (:

First stop, to the CineBlast! :D Both of us were super curious about the 4D effect thing, which works like say, you feel as if you're in a roller coaster but actually its just all a mix of visual, sound and motion effects! haha! Sounds quite exciting!!So anw, we decided to catch the Extreme Log Ride! :D


So we went into the threatre and put on our ridiculous 3D glasses! :D The seats were shaped like a rectangular black raft with two rows of three seats each and it tilts and vibrate and bump accordingly and appropriately to add to the scary effect! hahaha! I thought it was quite exhilarating but its damn short lah! Like only ten minutes or so! And it was sixteen dollars per pax! Not quite worth it I think!


Upon exit, we spotted this place filled with abandoned tropical fruit statues(??)!

Here's the greedy boy hogging the papaya all for himself! Never even share with me!! hahaha!

Apparently, that wasn't enough cause he went on to devour the Durian, Jambus, Starfruits and the big Rambutan until...

Since we were catching Songs of the Sea next, we decided to hike from Imbiah Station to Beach Station where it is located! And this is some colourful place somewhere along the way!

Seems like a good place to camouflage! :D You can barely see us!

Then it was time for our Songs of the Sea show at 8:40pm! It's quite a pretty laser show complete with fireworks!




We wanted to eat Fish and Co (again) but it was closing by the time we headed back to Mainland! That's OKAY because dinner at Newton is equally satisfying! :D

Somehow I think she's one of the few people I never run out of topics to talk to! Maybe because we only meet up once in a while lah! :D lol! The wonderful fat pig saved my life tooooo! :D I was being the usual hopeless direction idiot and really couldn't figure out how to walk to my tuition kid's place (my dad drove me there the last time)! I just feel so disoriented! And she accompanied me all the way til I reached my tutee's condo! (((: Wheeeeeeeeee! Thanks MUSHROOMYYYYYYYYYY! :DD

Gonna meet her tmr again to get started on my Secret Mission! :D

Damn, I'm super duper bored to death at home! I think I really need to get a job soon cause otherwise I'll just get lazier and lazier, and wake up later and later as the days go by! lol!

Was checking out the jobsdb website just now but they are mostly admin and other clerical jobs, which sounds kind of dreary! Still gonna try looking for banqueting or waitressing jobs! (: Anyone knows anywhere that's hiring? ((:

Gonna have tuition again later! Everyone tells me the pay is damn sad can! ): But more likely than not, this will be a pretty short term assignment cause I'm not gonna teach anymore once I start uni! That will be in three months time!

SMU interview was quite a flop for meeeeeeee! First and foremost, I got LOST! I printed out the map and all but I just couldn't find my way to the Business School! hahaha! In my defense, it is pretty hidden okay! Ended up having to ask like ten thousand people before reaching my destination! /: Was kind of sprouting rubbish during the interview session and writing rubbish in the essay component haha! But heck lah its over! (:

Met ck after that and I was totally starving! We had Lerk Thai for lunch and I think the food is so goooood! I love Thai food can!! It's super appetizing! ((:

That's my whole family minus MiMi and MooMoo plus ck and zn! :D We're actually not really interested in the racing but rumour has it that the food is super good so we all went hahahaha! But frankly I thought the food was just okay lah.. (:

I just read lil one's blog and she wrote that she is inspired to take lots of photos like I'm suddenly taking nowww! :D hahahaha! YAY I'm so inspiring woo hoo!! But recently I've really decided to bring my camera everywhere and take lots of happy photos! (: Photographs capture all my happiest moments and never fails to make me smile when I do look back (: I miss you little one!! And I'm not a "big ball of laughter" wth! hahahaha!

Didn't go out with my Mom in the end cause everyone was feeling kinda lazy! Instead, we all played Dressing-up at home! Quite exciting to find that some dusty black blazer from my sister's Sec Two days (That's seven years ago okay) and this white skirt that no one bothers to wear can FINALLY see light and be put into good use!! hahaha! Fun fun! After a while we tried to be adventurous and did stupid things like wearing our towel-looking tube dress as a long skirt! Ended up looking like Ali Baba! lol! My sis also threw on this oversized boyfriend shirt and a laosai brown very very big and long skirt and she looked like a total idiot hahahahaha! Almost died laughing at her.

I wonder if everyone dresses very formally for SMU's interview! /: I read on some forum on the net that the advised attire would be to wear a proper blouse, a formal skirt and covered heels. But my friend who went for the interview already told me some people just pulled on jeans and a nice top. Scared if I wear too formal or too casual will look very off. Hai!! I hate interviews ): ESP group ones! Stresssss!

Finally met up with Limei today! (: This girl never fails to make me think about stuffs! haha! I realise that because we have very different perspectives and takes on issues, talking to her is really very interesting ((:

Anw somehow we ended up talking about whether there's really such a thing as "You're my one and only" today. She was telling me that it's possible and in fact very normal for a person to truly love more than one individual at a time. Hmm yeah I think its very possible with all the distractions around. But I also feel that if you really do love more than two people at a time, its more likely than not that the feelings are only for that moment when you think a person is really nice or sweet or thoughtful. Then there will come a time where you make a choice between the two and subsequently, you just cannot love another as much as you love that one person. Guess that's what makes a relationship sweet and special! (Idealistically lah). The devotion and faith. (:
