HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY!

I guess its the most appropriate time to dedicate huge thankyous to the few special teachers I've ever crossed path with! :D Firstly, there is:

Ms Chong!
My primary school teacher! Though the memory is getting more and more vague, I'll still remember you as the quietly dedicated and hardworking teacher who gave your best to the students you teach. At first we all thought you were super distant and difficult to approach, and sometimes lessons could get a little monotonous, but slowly we realised how far you will go to help your students- esp when it comes to extra coaching after school. I still kept the card that you sent to me when I was in Primary Six. haha! Thank you for being such a wonderful teacher! Happy teachers' day!

Mr Stephen Loh!
My Sec Four form and Amaths teacher! Thankyou for not giving up on me or forcing me to drop though I failed your amaths consistently for two years /: oops haha. You nagged, scolded and scolded somemore and though there were times I didn't like you, I knew you were a very dedicated teacher who never failed to coach us whenever we needed your help! Soooo, thankyou Mr Loh! haha. Today when we made you recite our names to test if you still remember us, you told me you won't forget the names of girls who failed their amaths so consistently. I won't forget the teacher who helped me get pass the horrible amaths either! Happy teachers' day! :D

There were definitely times when our whole committee got reallyyyyy annoyed with your welfare ways with the cadets but you have always been the very encouraging and nice teacher-in-charge we could all rely on. Thanks for those words of acknowledgement and kindness because they really mean alot to us (:

Teachers' Day celebration was wayyyyyy cool at hc today! Man, the skit put up by the new teachers was hilarious! hahahah! And super cute! The teacher "hosts" were damn good also! Esp the guy! My gosh he has such a phantom-of-the-opera-ish voice! The MCs were hilariously funny too! The part about the "I am your motherrrrrrr" is like HA HA HA HA! :D nearly died laughing :D

After that I met ShaoJian together with YuTing and we headed back to Crescent together! Stupid ShaoJian was being spastic! When I asked her what shes gonna give the teachers, she had the audacity to say SHE was the present! ARGH! Excuse me while I cry for the teachers! =P hahahaha.
The performance at crescent wasn't all that great but then again, I only watched one item, which was an air band /: Saw some of the juniors around and some of them looked like they saw a ghost when they saw me. hahahah! Were we thatttt scary? lol. Oh well, I miss the cadets (: I only saw SingNing, Zhixin and BengHui today though! -big hug! And JiaHui at the later part of the day! SHAZIE you mean girl WHERE ARE YOU ALR!

After that headed to Pizza Hut at Suntec to lunch with 4S1! Had alot of fun with them talking rubbish, shopping and fooling around (: I miss you guyssssss!

Anw, I'll just like to annouce that I LOVE SOPH AND ZEET! (: wheeee! Two of my bestest friendsss :D So today after school, we headed to town together to buy stuffs. Went to Taka first where we pigged out oh-so-sinfully /: Each of us bought our favourite foods and then we heaped everything together, sat at the fountain, and begin to stuff ourselves. hahahahah!

And then we spent the rest of the time at kino looking for a fountain pen for Dr Siva for Teachers' Day. Tried out a few and we finally decided on one that was within our budget, was practical, and looks quite expensive hehheh. Then we went to Art Friend where we spent a whooping two hours plus just looking at all the wonderful craft materials! Soph and I bought a super cool scrapebooking magazine each! So ex lah its like 12.90 but its too nice to resist.

Sophialo and SeetZhuting are both so embarassing! They started having a laughing fit at the poor me and collaspsed in a heap on the floor, very nearly stuffing their heads into a box of art stuff! In front of my sec sch friend somemore! hahahahahahahahah! In contrast, I was ever so cool and glamorous and I merely looked down in distaste at that two pigs =P hehhehheh!

aha todays a hellish day and I'm just glad its over! Two big disasterous tests plus one little surprise one makes yueqi a not very-alive-girl. And I know the highly anticipated results will more likely than not suck the remaining bit of life out of me. haha. Aiyah, DON'T CARE ALREADY. heh.

I've been feeling like a zombie everyday when I go to school /: Can't wait for the September holidays even though its gonna be hell of a mugging period! Oh but actually, I think its also kinda nice to mug full-time! Thinking back to the days of mugging for Os, my friends and I used to reach Queenstown Library at ten, "study" til around one, eat lunch, go NTUC buy junk, "study" til six, slack for another hour and then mug a bit more til 9 when the library closes. It didn't even feel like mugging cause it was all quite fun, relaxed and routine (: But I guess circumstances has changed /: JC work definitely contains more French than Secondary school.
Who wants to mug out call meeee! :D

Sunday, Yong, Eunice and I met at library @ esplanade to study for Chem and Econs. The library was damn saturated and you can see people studying everywhere! On the floor, on the tables, in the cafe.. its crazy. But in the evening this whole group of people finally left so we got a table to ourselves! yay! Then Eunice left at around six plus so Yong and I continued to mug til around nine. Anw, the prices of everything there was seriously whoopingly bombastic! I swear I can have a heartattack purely by asking innocently, "Uncle how much is this?". For example, Chicken Sandwiches in the library cafe were like $6.80!!! Like what the...!!!
And then Yong and I went for dinner at the hawker centre place somewhere behind and I poked Yong and told him "Eh for all you know, the Hokkien Mee will cost ten bucks!" and then Yong replied "If it is, I'm gonna crash the stall" and then we both look at the price and to our utter amusement, its EIGHT BUCKS for one big plate! hahahahahahahah! And the carrot cake was six bucks! Never ate such expensive hawker food in my entire life. Maybe I should aspire to be a hawker at Esplanade! But the food was pretty good lah so..

I should really get contacts soon. I missed my house busstop and ended up walking a mile back home. And I should do something about my sense of direction too. I can't recognise where to get down after living at this place for three years of my life. But then again, it was dark! So, its not my fault! =D

Today I brought my little cousins for a swim and guess whats their idea of entertainment, fun, laughter, peace and joy? The newest, most hip game of "Yueqi-is-our-hippo-lets-ride-on-her!"

And so I spent two hours crawling around in the 0.5m part of the pool acting as their pet hippo.
What theeeee. Child abuse I tell you! hahahah! But seeing as they are soooo cute, I shall forgive them.

OH and you know what they asked me? I was browsing through my song collection and they asked, "zehzeh how come you got so many songs but don't have baa baa black sheep one?" HAHAHAHAH!

Did I already mention that Ms Chua rocks? My gosh, shes the world's best teacher! :D Today, Soph, Zeet, Yong, Siyun, Terry and I met her for chem consultation and she was really patient and detailed with us, explaining all the concepts that we weren't clear and all that. I think she has some magic powers or sth cause she actually makes yucky and gross chem interesting! when I used to dislike chem quite alot. Plus she is super dedicated toooooo. Like, she told us, "If you need my help, rest assure I will help you. This much I can garantee." So nice lah! :D

haha. And so today started off quite sadly cause there was a chem class test, the written report to rush out, and alot of other things that should be done but I didn't do! So I was kinda relieved when I could strike all these things off my agenda as the day went by. I need sleeeeeeeeep desperately man! A sleepy girl is seriously a sad girl. hahah!

This week has been a really crazy week and I think my stress-o-meter is on the verge of beeping like crazy! What's with PW, all the consultations and remedials, a huge stack of undone tutorials, another huge stack of lecture notes that might as well be written in French and all the other random stuffs. Mad lah!

Then Joanne came up with this summary of my secondary school life which made me can't help but feel wistful! (though she was blatantly insulting me)

Not that I enjoyed leading the life of a pig but things were much much simpler then! hahaha.

Todays a pretty okay day in school! I woke up at six in the morning, took MooMoo to do his morning business, and plonked back to bed. Yawns. Got to school at eleven thirty for Maths Lecture. See, I'm still half a conscientious student! =D CT session was cool! Johnathan and the iceskating guy! Damnn pro lah!
After school mugged in the library with Sean and Siyun while Eunice did PW stuffs. I wasn't really in a mugging mood so after two hours, I went to walk walk around and after that I went home with YiWei and Val. Whoops.

Theres a chem test tmr ): And its a long long day! And theres chem consultation after that!

hahahah! Today was a pretty short day and chem prac was quite interesting since it was the first time we were doing organic chem. I'm amazed how the organic chemicals can smell soooo bad! And I thought ammonia was bad enough lah. Especially the FA14! My gosh /: It smells like someone who sweated for ten years and didn't change clothes or sth. AND, one of the experimen ts helped us make mirrors! :D wahahahah! So fascinating! Like, you just put together a few drops of chemicals and then put in the water bath then you see it slowly become a dark gray kinda metal and then it becomes a shiny mirror! You can even see your distorted reflection inside!! Okay its a mirror so duh you can see your reflection. But yeah, its still cool! :D

yep after that some of us went to Venezia to eat and study :D Man, I love studying out with my classmates heh (: at first there was Sam, Claire and Sean and some of the guys came over to eat also, but after that there was only me and Val left and we started yakking away! hahahah! Typical! It was really great and interesting talking to her :D Though we kinda abandoned our chem after we got started haha.

Thursday; Mugged in school with Zhuting, Sophia, Valerie, Sean and Yong! We mugged for maths lecture test in school until a whooping ten thirty at night! In other words, we hung out with Mr Mathematics for like, five hours straight! Actually, I had quite alot of fun studying with them cause as the night grew darker, we also became more rubbishy! So it was damn funny :D And we had this amazing observation! At first right, we (minus Yong) were comparing the letters behind our BC number and we realiseeeee that they were in consecutive order! Like F G H I and since mine was D, they all ostracised me!! And then Yong appeared so all of us were like "EH YONG what's your letter!!" and guess what, IT WAS E! HAHAHAHAH! All of us stunned there for five seconds and thus, YAY!, with this wonderful coincidence of the day, my period of ostracization ended! :D :D :D Muahahahah! We should do this again people! (:

Friday; Don't talk about the maths test man. So annoying! Forward forward! haha. Anw after school, some of us headed over to Yong's house to slack. The guys went to swim while the girls rotted in the living room and then we discovered Yong had alot of VCDs and ZhuTing recommanded "Brotherhood" so we started watching that. It was like quite gory with all the hands and limbs flying off and also very very sad so most of us cried and all, esp when the fiancee died! ): ZhuTing was the most hilarious lah she soaked the entire pillow she was hugging!! HAHAHA!
After that some of us (soph zt eunice terry) went to Adam's food centre for dinner and Sean came over to join us also. Ate the yummy Nasi Lemak but the Otah was sold out ): haha. After that Eunice and Terry left so the rest of us just sat there and chatted until like around nine plus. hee hee! Oh yeah, yesterday marks the day that our dearest Ms Sophia Lo ate her first bowl of chengteng with ALOT of propaganda from ME! and Yong! and Eunice! HAHAHA. What can I say, chengteng is the best! Although there are "flowers" inside! hehheh.

Oh yes friday's break was damn funny also! We were rotting in the canteen during the second break and since Sean was the only guy there again, we all teh-ed him together and his ears and face turned superrrrr reddddd! HAHAHAHAHAH! "Seannyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy" -grins! Okay and I've learnt my lesson! It's Ve-nilla, not Van-illa. I'm a hip girl okay! not auntie at all! :D

Alright I'm gonna start on my eom now. Its dued ten years ago sigh! Siva is gg to murder me!

Yawns. Stupid Econs ILP is driving me crazy!

Today my reluctantly new-found study partner (my brother /:) and I went to the library again with huge enthusiasm from my parents, who even drove us there! I figured I might as well study out with him since I keep getting distracted at home, either by Mr Computer here, Mr Sandman or Mr MooMoo. And halfway through studying, we grew really bored so we went engaged in some cheap thrills aka the gumball machines! (Is that what its called?)

Anw, it all started when my brother saw some tamagochi thing on the machines and asked me to get it for him. As usual, he's exploiting me /: Out of curiosity, I peered into the machine and I realise that everything inside was anything but the tamogochi thing. Haiyoh, cheat money one! So, my (rather gay) brother heh turned his attention to some quite cute hp/coin pouches and this super cute cat one caught his eye! I evaluated the odds of getting it; Not bad lah. So we decided to tryyyy and look what we got:

SURPRISE! hahahahhah! My goodness! Have you ever seen anything uglier than this!? hahahahahahahahhahahahahah!

Displaying the wonderful qualities of determination and never-say-die, my brother wanted to try again. At that point of time it was like, quite exciting to turn the knob and hold your breathe to see what you've got! So I said yes! And look what we got the second time:

WTHHHHHHHHH! hahahhahahahhaha! Okay I drew that smiley face BUT have you seen anything more useless and spastic than this?!?!?! We stunned for five seconds and burst out laughing when we saw this crap. grrrr!

It was damn funny at that point of time lah. And you know whats the stupidest thing one can do? It's to be brainless and try one more time.
And that's excatly what we did!

And this time when I turned the knob, two gumballs fell out! One was another hello kitty crap and the other was our best friend the same ugly dog thing! In case you forogt how wonderfully cute it was, it looks like that:

HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. I nearly died laughing at my brother's face.

So now I have one of the dog things /: My brother insisted it was a present. Wah thanks alot.

And we went back to the library, me holding all the gumballs while my ego brother pretended to keep his hands busy so he didn't have to hold them. Throw face throw face.

Moral of the story, gumball machines breaks hearts!

The stadium was packed. As Kelly and Mark were ushered to their seats directly above midfield, Kelly said, "I'm impressed. These seats are hard to get."
Mark smiled and said, "When you love soccer as much as I do, nothing is impossible."
Kelly bit her lip to keep from laughing. She could not wait for the game to begin.

It was a frenzied, exciting game but it was diffuclt for Kelly to concentrate. She kept looking at Mark, amazed by his expertise. How could I have been so wrong?

As they were leaving the stadium, Kelly asked," Mark- how long have you been interested in soccer?"
He looked at Kelly sheepishly and said," About three days. I've been researching it on my computer. Since you're so interested, I thought I should learn about it too."

Slack day in school today. We met our new tutor and wellllll, its still too early to judge him but he definitely isn't the lively happy tutor Mrs Yap was. More like the typical Maths Lecturer style. Straight, Blocky, Brilliant, Shirt and Pants, Neat. hahah okay I'm being evil and stereotypical. Swimming was quite slack cause we just learnt to kick off and blah. Damn embarassing lah the instructor was like okay "one two three everybody GO!" and we were all supposed to kick off and swim but to my horror, I kicked right into the hole in the pool "staircase" and my ankle got stuck there! hahahah! So obviously I can't move and ouch lah, my poor leg. Ate at the pool cafe and my goodness! It's daylight robbery!! Fried rice with one sausage and nuggets for $3.50!! /: /: /: It's heartattacking! Yeah fine. Tutorials after that but I wasn't really paying attention.

After school we (Soph, Eunice Sam and I) set to work on Valerie's present and we gave it to her. haha. Unfortunately, our brilliant acting skills did not manage to keep brilliant Valerie in the dark and she wasn't surpised! ): Duh lah, all of us are blur like a whirling car wheel. Aww, mission failed but its okay! :D Soph has the best art sense ever! You all should just see her painting man! :D
Left for Comm Serve with YiWei and the bus took really ages so when we reached town, it was already 4.30! So we figured, no point going there anw so we went Taka to eat instead /: Can you believe it! hahah!

But on a sidenote, Cream Puffs at Taka at now $1.20 instead of $2! (: heehee. Cheap right!
And being nice yueqi, I bought one for my brother but that lazy boy is hibernating /: Now the cream puff is a little soggy /:

I propaganda-ed YiWei to be nice and buy some pastries back for her sisters too! And YiWei did!
YiWei is really getting nicer! Not bad not bad! From having cat fights with her sisters to buying hotdog buns for them, its a gargantuan change of character :D (okay she's gonna kill me)

Click was a really really good show! What I thought was a typical brainless ha-ha show turned out to be one that made me laugh and cry and reminded me that the best things we can ever possess in this world are not always measured by our wealth and success. Family and Love are what is really priceless and truly valuable. And life isn't just about achieving your goals or being the richest or most accomplished person in the world. Even if you had the choice to fastforward your life and skip the crazy and difficult process of working like a complete cow, the glory means nothing in the end unless you've lived through it.

And it was damn sad too! Kl and I were totally crying our eyes out in the cinema haha.
It's really a fabulous show! Heartwarming, happy, enlightening and very very funny. Go watch it everyone! (:

He was always chasing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. He gave up a lot for it but yet when he gets there at the end of the day, all he gets was just a bowl of corn flakes.

Oh to rewind a bit, met KaiLing for breakfast in the morning at YaKun Kaya Toast at Bishan and we later realised we were being really dumb because we both wanted to go to Toa Payoh after that but we met at Bishan for YaKun when there was a Yakun at ToaPayoh. Yeah, kill us. hahahaha. After that, it was library with Eunice and we mugged Chemistry (: Lunched at Macs and then Zhuting came over to join us cause we had to discuss Econs ILP. After the movie, Kl and I went to eat this really really yummy snowy ice thing! The ice flakes are so fluffy and soft I tell you! :D

Okay this entry has really bad organisation haha but I can't help gushing about the movie first heh :D

Today, my Mom opened the fridge, saw the prawns and etc etc and had a sudden brainstorm! She wanted to make popiah! hahahaha. So she and my sister aka the brillaint cook spent the afternoon preparing all the main ingredients while I, the cannot-make-it cook, returned to my very important job of...
Plucking the beansprouts and peeling garlics. /: Life is unfair I tell you. haha.

And so at around two, all the ingredients were ready! And it looks like that:


There's more but my camera can't capture everything :D So in clockwise order, its the chinese cabbage (I think), the I-don't-know-what-it-is-called but its the main ingredient, eggs, prawns and some deep-fired taupok cubes (: Oh of course, theres the popiah skin!

hahah! It's nice, a little salty and all :D

Anw, it wasnt all that easy wrapping the popiahs! /: My first one was too huge cus I was too greedy piling all the stuff in and it burst, the second one was too soggy and the third one ended up looking like a wanton dumpling. Most of us ended up eating our popiah with a spoon. HAHAHA.

And the best-looking popiah of the afternoon goes to... MRS MOMMY!

School was quite fun today cause it was just celebrations and all that. The fac musicals were all pretty nice and whoo! Yong and his "Breaking Free" with MeiLing! Nice (: Bio lecture after that and I was like drifting in and out of lalaland. The lightings in the auditorium were the nice orangey soothing dull lulling type that can send me to sleep in seconds so... haha. After that zhuting threatened us all that the next person to sleep will have to treat everyone to icecream so I pinched myself twice and survived the lecture! :D

After school some of the girls and ChrisSeah headed to Waffle Town to eat waffles! MY GOSH the waffles were heavenly! Light, crispy and soft! Especially when it is drenched in maple syrup! :D :D :D Man, I never knew waffles could taste so good! Compared to the green green type that other places sell.. /: haha. Those aren't called waffles are they? They can't be! x)

After that, met up with my sister in town cause she wanted to go shopping again. That woman wear until soooo nice while I was in my orientation tshirt and fbts! So lokcok! haha. Then we went to Clippers to cut our hair! For onceeee, my hair isn't screwed by the hairdresser! You know why? Cause it looks almost excatly the sameeeeeeee, just thinner. hahah! I think it was because of my repeated and urgent/desperate reminders that he doesnt cut it too short hehheh. The evil guy was puzzled about why my hair was so uneven and he thought I was too stressed and chopped it off myself. Wah thank you. See, the next time, remind me never to be kind and let my Mom convince me to let her friend who is a "hairdresser" cut for me. I didn't even have the right to complain out of plain courtesy even though I wanted to strangle her! Clippers is still the best lah (:

And I saw my darlings shaojiannnn and jannnnn at Taka! :D Then my sister attempted to force me to trim my eyebrows cause she insisted it was too bushy but she failed! muahaha. I'm sadly a wimp when it comes to such things. So pain! ): That leads me to the point that my sister has become such a girly girl over the years! To think her hair was shorter than mine when she was in Primary 4! :D Pigged out at Taka aka food paradise and then we headed home (:

Yawns. Tmr we end at a whooping eleven but they had to er, sth about salted vegetables and put in a Biology lecture for us! /: hahah actually I don't understand the salted/preserved vegetables thing. Is it even salted/preserved vegetables in the first place?! Or does it mean crumpled? Okay ask eunice, she knows what wang huimin was talking about :D


Three days of glorious holidays but theres like, tons to do and a tirade of tests coming up. Save me ): Can't go for class lunch on Wednesday cause its strictly family day! Aww. Have lots of funnn people! (: Then breakfast with kailing on Thursday! yay! (: at a whooping nineeeeee at bishannnnn! She knows me well enough to offer to give me a morning call to dig me out of bed. hehheh. Then I'll probably meet zt to do econs ilp somewhere in ToaPayoh cause shes having physio there.

Due to the complete inability to study at home, I have decided to deck out at the library on weekends and attempt to stuff some knowledge into my reluctant brain. And guess whoooo is my new study partner?

hehheh. Of course, the primary reason is because my Mom thinks studious yueqi will influence her little brother to study since he has his PSLE this year so she wanted me to bring him! Hmmmmm. hahaha.
ANW, I must complain that my brother has a bottomless pit for a stomach! He eats and eats and snacks and drinks and eats somemore and he is still NOT FULL. As a result of his gluttony, my sad allowance has depleted significantly to become utterly depressing. That horrible boy still gleefully grinned and told me, "Er jie, everything's on you!" !@#$% On account that he lets me pinch him everyday, I've decided to let him off. I'm very generous, I know (: I even bought him a water gun! Yeahh, its for me to shoot him :D

Feeling crappy now! :D Its gonna be a short short week next week! School only on Monday and Friday! Everyone jump for joyyy! :D

My sister bought Tom and Jerry DVDs for meeeee! (: (: (:

They are the super ancient episodes (produced somewhere around 1982) that we used to watch together when we were little girls! I remember my Uncle recorded the cartoons down for us and we watched til the tape spoiled and we were so sad.
Seriously, I've watched it sooooo many times til I can memorise almost all the scenes even til now and the best thing is, I still find it funny! In fact, its hilarious!! Like when some frying pan smacks into Tom's face and his face takes the shape of the pan or when Tom paints a hole in the wall and Jerry tries in vain to run in! hahaha damn funny! Watching it makes me feel happy! (: The cat and the mouse is almost as spastic as ChrisSeah! Almost. ChrisSeah still wins though hahah!

Today was quite a slack and nice day but my goodness I'm soooooooo sad cause the horrible school changed our Maths teacher!! WHYYY! I want Mrs Yap back! ): She's such a nice and happy teacher and its really cause of her that I actually bother to do my tutorial- cause she's really really good. And we had her for such a short time ):

We ended lessons at a whooping one thirty so I just rotted around with the girls and talked rubbish. hahahah! (: After that headed for comm serve and poor yiwei lost her wallet on 171 ): That blur girl! But, I really marvel at her "optimism". She takes the loss of her wallet as a sign that I should get her a new wallet for her birthday! /: Wow. lol.

Comm serve was really nice today (: The kids were as usual damnnnn naughty/cunning and the two little boys I was tutoring kept bullying me! haha. But they were really cute! Especially the cute little malay boy with really long lashes! :D While trying to teach them maths, they kept chattering about soccer and asking me who I support for S league and World Cup! And I cleverly answered Home United and Germanyyyyy! wahaha. Actually I only watched S League once in my entire life at the stadium but they started whooping and high-fiving with me. hahahaha. And apparently they supported Italy and France for the World Cup and to my horror, they began imitating Zidane's headbutt action on each other! /: Then they started boasting that they both play midfielders and insisted I should watch them play later and see whos better! So cute lah (: And the boy with the long lashes went like "zehzeh I keep your chair for youuuu"! Awww! Heart melt heart melt! (:

Played lego with Yiwei and the kids and the bad kids were comdemning this poor little girl in front of this poor little girl /: They were simultaneously agreeing that she was a "Bodoh" and an "annoying irritant"! Wah damn evil! So Yiwei and I were there acting like some ah mas telling them "ehhh you guys shouldn't be so baddddddd" and "donttt like that say people lahhhhhhh" but to no avail. They even started telling her, "Even the zehzehs don't like you!" and Yiwei and I stunned for five seconds before insisting that we DIDN'T say anything! hahaha. Talk about open honesty.

Headed home after that. Weekends! (:
