I had a really good time with my Garfield today! An entire day just flashed past in a blink of an eye ): Towards the end of the day, my Garfield looked sad and he made me feel sad too. I love my Garfield alot!

We had Yakun Kaya Toast for breakfast together then rented movies from TS to watch for the rest of the day! A lazy afternoon with the lazy cat! (: Then he made cup noodles for me cause I was starving! Yummy! I have this secret love for cup noodles! I simply CANNOT store any in my house cause I will feel like eating it for all my meals. HAHA!

Then we had Macs for dinner! Sinful!! I was curdling the oil from the fries and nuggets with my Macdonald's icecream! ///: Yucks right! Nonetheless, it was niceeeeeee! Then ck suddenly starting singing the pigeon's and the squirels' part in the Enchanted soundtrack! lol! Only he will do such a thing! Most people wouldn't even notice that the pigeon was singing as well hahaha!

Seven days til my work officially ends, after which I'll be off to HONG KONGGGG with my sister, siyun, shueli and claire! hahaha! Weird combination right? (: But we're gonna have so much funnnnnn! I'm going to attempt to stuff the whole hong kong street market there into my luggage. lol!

Update on the Ezlink issue! I called the Transit Link office today! And as expected, there's no problem with my card and I'm supposed to go collect it back again.!@#$%!@#$% If I see the damned bus driver again, I am really going to punch her. Now I'm supposed to wait about two weeks for them to send my card over to Orchard MRT ticketing Office (at least they provide such a service) for me to claim it. I think they are trying to make my card crawl there on its own or sth!

Nonetheless, I'm glad to get it back! And the customer service officer was really nice (:

Incidentally, I also found out that bus drivers get commission when they confiscate expired cards or something along that lines. This leads us to a big "NO WONDER".

Met up with siyun and zhuting today and we went to pig out at Newton's Circles! I forgot my camera though so no pictures from me! ): Shall get them from sy! Anw, we really ate ALOT! Otahs, Satays, Hokkien Mee, Oyster Eggs, Chicken Wings, Sugar Cane Juice, Baby Kailan, and a huge plate of fruits! Note that everything is in the plural form! haha! I was like, bursting when we finally got to our feet. They walked me halfway home until it started drizzling so we took the bus instead! I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee you two! ((: Pity Soph couldn't join us today!

ck and I went to Bakerzin today! (:

I've been there once with Limei but I've always thought it was BakerZIA! haha so its actually BakerZIN! lol! The N looks suspiciously like an A! Anw, I remember Limei brought me there cause I told her I felt like eating a really rich chocolate cake and I was feeling down that day with all the transferring within StarHub. She is such a great friend to me! Its been a while since we contacted though ): I really need to make the effort to keep in contact with people who mean alot to me.

The food at Bakerzin was good! (:



Yummy! I ordered the Arrabiatta (I kept the receipt just so I know what this is called hahahaha) while ck had the Flaky Pizza, which he claim I scammed him into getting! The tomato sauce for my Arrabiatta is super nice! Rich and thick tomato puree! It was already half eaten when I suddenly remember I should snap a picture so that explains the messy food!

ck's pizza is also very nice! The pizza crust is q special; it's like pastry-ish rather than bread-like! And as you can see, the toppings are really generous! But I was damn full and I felt some gastric-y feeling after I ate nearly one slice! lol! Which is the reason why ck said I scammed him into buying cus I told him I was really hungry and he assumed I can eat alot. He didn't want to eat so much cus he had dinner at home and felt he was getting fat LOL. But in the end he ate most of the pizza hahaha!

On the way home, I got fucked by some fucking bus driver. She confiscated my ez link card cause I paid the wrong bus fare. Fuck lah.

Kaboom! Another day has gone byyyyyyy and tmr is FRIDAYYYYYYY! According to ck its the start of the GREAT SINGAPORE SALE! Woo hoooooooo! But since I'll be gg Hong Kong soon I must learn to abstain from shopping here and buy more cheapo good stuffs there hahaha! I'm going to stock up on many many tops, dresses, shorts, heels, slippers, bags and totes and earrings and all kinds of rubbish! That is so shiok! (:

Its the last day for one of my colleagues tmr! After she's gone, my life of a lonely sad girl truly begins cus the desk behind me will be empty! Anyway, I saw the new (poor) girl coming in for interview for the position of a Sales Exeucutive today and she looks really young?! Somemore I heard that she's a permanent staff and not a temp! Strange! When we saw her getting interviewed by my manager, all of us were like joking that we should join hands, form a circle and pray for her hahaha!

Met ck after work today! ((: The moment I stepped out of RTC it started raining pots and pans! Seriously it was pouring like nobody's business! Doesn't help that I was wearing tower-high heels for work today! It took me like ten minutes to cross the freaking overhead bridge /: And by the end of the day, my legs were aching and my feet were yelling and my little toe was screaming in agony and poor ck had to walk 100 times slower than usual to wait for his suffering, hobbling gf! HAHAHA! We had Fish and Co's Seafood Platter for Two at Paragon and this Platter is different from the usual one! It has GIGANTIC and I really mean GIANT TIGER PRAWNS which are delicious, sweet and succulent! Really good! And instead of mussels, they have scallops! I prefer the mussels though! But the prawns were fab! Pricing wise it was adjusted accordingly upwards! Expensive but guess it was pretty worthwhile! I've got pictures but they are in my phone and I'm too lazy to upload :D

We have been wanting to devour the desserts at Bakerzin but our dinners are always too huge for us to eat anymore after that! I am getting fat! But I don't wanna exercise! hahahaha!

I think the most sucky thing about my work now is not my scary manager but that I usually have to lunch alone in the staff cafeteria because of our staggered lunch times! Meaning at any one time, at least one of us must be in the office to take phone calls (DURING LUNCH HOUR WTHHHHH) and since now there's only two of us, that doesn't leave us with much choice eh? /: I'm waiting for the new temp to come! I hope she arrives soon (and that she is niceeeeee) so I will have company!

I think I am very dependant on people and that is so dumb and pathetic! I should be more independant and get use to an individualistic life. I heard uni is somewhat like that too, esp if you end up taking a certain module all by yourself! Gosh, that really sucks! So I really admire independant people who aren't afraid to say, grab a movie ticket and watch it alone at the cinema! I was asking ck if he would and he said, "Why not!" To me, its kinda strange.. haha! Not something I would do if I was myself. But that's not so bad actually! But if say, in school where everyone is in groups and you are all alone, then its really quite sad!

Not to say that I don't like to be on my own! I love having my own time, but only at the right place.

Anyway, although the food there is good, free and served buffet style every day, it keeps making me have sore throat! I think the way they cook it is way too fiery for me! /: Now there's a tiny little ball of pain at the back of my throat. Hurts! ):

Garfield bought me my shihlin meesua and fav Each-a-cup bubbletea for dinner after work today while I was rushing to tuition! (: Really made me smileee and it cheered me up considerably. And after that, he whipped out this pair of pretty white heels that I was trying out the other day too! He got it for me for work (: thanks dear! I really appreciate it! (:

I just met the most impatient, unreasonable and coarse woman in my entire life and she is none other than the manager at my workplace. On my first day there, she was practically shouting the roof down (and at clients also), pushing me around (physically and literally) and throwing stuffs everywhere. Like wtf?! I really felt like slapping her can. All my other colleagues cannot stand it as well. One of them is like, resigning next week /:

And then I found out how to own her! And that is to SHOUT BACK when she is being unreasonable instead of being docile and quiet. Not excatly shout lah, but you can just say things like, "I'm here to work, not for you to shout at!" or like "Everyone has their own style of working right!" (When she started flinging away the post-its tht I put to mark my COMPLETED and UNDONE stacks)." After that she becomes nicer to you. So I have come to a conclusion that she has no self-awareness at all. The thing is, she doesn't know she is being mean until you defend yourself or retaliate. Then she knows that she has crossed the line and will back off.

But in a way, she actually made me learn alot cause I am determined not to let her find fault with me. I think my ability to block of noise has also increased.

There's a job opening now at my place! Guaranteed Challenging! Anyone interested? :D

(: ck and I initially planned to go East Coast to blade and cycle today but the lousy weather was such a spoiler! Although it didn't rain outright, Mr Sun was on holiday and hiding behind the clouds! So we changed our minds and decided to nua our day away!

At night, we had dinner at Lucky Plaza's Lucky Prata (Yeah, I know -.-), quite a budget place with okay food if you're okay with the taste of strong Indian spices! Chankeet bought this huge plate of flavoured rice with spicy curry chicken and we shared a Murtabak also, which was HUGE! Quite tasty!

This reminds me of the time Limei and I went there to pig out! haha! And she introduced me to Banana Prataaaaaa! (: Must date her out again since our last date failed due to my job interview cropping up!

Anw, ck and I were sooooo full (read: filling) after the meal! :D

I'm starting work again on Monday at Raffles Town Club! Which is walking distance from my house! Yippee! I pray everyone there will be niceeee!

Went back to Crescent for some comfort food with my Mushroomieee today! hahaha! I miss Crescent so much! This is my first time going back to Crescent without my classmates/squadmates. One day I must drag my partner Huixinnnnnn and Joanne and Dawnnie back for a visit again!! (: AND my squadmates also!!

Anw, the food is still as good as I remember! Yummy! I ate my favourite vegetarian food (its the yummiest vegetarian bee hoon ever) and chee cheong fun and drank my lemon barley and honeydew milkshake!! Then I da-baoed home vegetarian food for my family and also bought Cai Fan and Pineapple Rice! Yinyee was laughing her head off at me cause I'm probably the first person who goes into the school tuckshop and comes out with 8 styrofoam boxes! Imagine how much of each thing I bought! hahaha! I was quite regretful that I didn't get to eat the noodles though! And soupy noodles are so hard to da dao ):

I went to find Mr Loh too! hahaha! I miss Mr Loh!! Unfortunately, he still remembers me as his worse Amaths student and the one who threw all his face /: And he proceeded to go tell all the other teachers that was sitting with him about my history of failures!! Gosh! He teaches Emaths now too! Strange! I was telling him about how disastrous my Law interview is and he said he can't imagine me as a Lawyer. haha! So sad case..

Quite an impressionable book that YinYee lent me but very the R21 lor! haha!

I've always thought I am quite a patient person. I can put up with a relative amount of nonsense, and still keep up quite an impassive face. But that was before I met my uncle. omfg I can totally just die okay.

Ohkay, actually I feel really bad bitching about my uncle. But I really cannot take it anymore so just let me be a bad niece this once.

See, he asked me to help him write a complaint letter for him and I was glad to help. I promised him I will get it done but that I will only start after the weekends cause I'll be out with ck. Still, EVERY NIGHT, he will ask me where the letter is in this hurried and pestering tone. And the thing is, he will be in Singapore for THREE weeks, so there was no hurry at all! Nonetheless, I only smiled and told him I'll start on Monday as promised because each time I get home, its nearly eleven plus! But still, he kept asking and asking every time he sees me, until I couldn't take it anymore and so I started writing on Friday.

Okay, so the letter was finally out and I really put in quite alot of effort okay, because I know it was important to them. But EVERYDAY, he scrutinizes the letter and keeps asking me to make changes. Which I accept and change willingly! (I think by now, I must have edited the letter about 100 times) But the thing is, he will find this part he doesnt like and make me change it, and the next time he reads it, he will find it weird aagain and make me change it back to what I originally wrote! And he has the WEIRDEST interpretation of things and this crazy sense of suspicion until even my Mom and Sis and Bro had to explain to him that even the stupidest person would NOT interpret that particular sentence as what he imagines. MY GOODNESS! Even the Buddha will get pissed okay!

And the worse thing is trying to explain to him that some words just CANNOT be used. For example, he wants to replace the word Retailers with the word COMMERCIAL, which is totally wrong because one is a PERSON and one is an Adjective(?). And he insists he saw people using the word that way somewhere. But how can you write like, "and this is affecting the lives of the residents and commercial." ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Imagine having to go through this situation like twenty times and each time, I have to explain heatedly WHY the form of word cannot be replaced with another. Its very hard to explain okay.

And now he is scrutinizing the letter again. My Mom has decided to take over my role and explain to my uncle all the parts he is dissatisfied with.

This is such a weird and absurd situation to be stuck in, right?

The table! (: I think the colours they use in this restaurant are really nice! And the utensils are so neat! When you're eating, the waiters keeps refilling your stands with new, clean utensils! Okay, some are not really clean. haha!


The seafood counter! Yummy! The prawns are big and fresh and sweet and so were the mussels and clams! I think the slipper lobsters weren't that nice though but ck likes them!


DESSERT!! The desserts are THE BEST! Looks super nice also right!! They have many many colourful and yummy-looking mousse desserts in all sorts of flavours in pretty glasses! Look at those in the top row! Drools!


Fondue! The chocolate is DAMN NICE LAH! I'm so regretful that I only managed to stomach 2 marshmellows ):


And there're Strawberries, Pineapples, Grapes, Plums and Marshmellows to go with it! (:

I didn't take photos of other food counters because I am SHY! hahaha! There are chefs at each counter in charge of preparing the food and I didn't wanna look like a suaku! lol!

Anw, there is also the Japanese food counter with sashimi, sushi and soba and all, the Western counter with tender roasts of sirloin, lamb and chicken and LOADS of different sauces to go along with, a Bread counter with all sorts of cheese, lots of Cooked Food and Dimsum and also Local Delights like prawn mee and chicken rice, a Salad counter and Four different soups to choose from! A HUGEEEEEEEEE SPREAD! :D :D :D See already also happy! :D

The soups weren't very nice though! /: The Tom Yam soup was sweet and thus tasted very strange!
