Time rockets by and its recess week already! I MUST make the best use out of this period to catch up on my work and further. Ahh! So I'm actually here to say goodbye! No idle netsurfing for me til midterms are over!! I can do this!!

Today was also my first meeting with the Sponsorship Comittee for Tri-Uni Camp! Fyi, Tri-uni camp is this really cool camp for this coming intake's freshies and its a collaboration between the three main unis in Singapore! I seriously think this is gg to be a really great learning experience for me. I've never done sponsorships before and from today's meeting, I can already anticipate the effort and good interpersonnal skills (gulps) required and its all very interesting!

Today also marks another milestone! My anti-social cat finally had dinner with my friends!! hahaha! Max and Fio! I should have taken a picture to mark this occasion! :D

OGL Inc on Sat was pretty fun but I felt real dead the whole day cus I barely slept the night before. The games had a bit of my adrenaline going for me but during the sharing session, I could feel myself shutting off and becoming stonewoman. And when it comes to acting what I'll do to handle a bunch of bored freshies.. the scene is just not realistic enough to trigger my reaction. Nonetheless, I met lots of new people, including Sarah the pee queen and Shuhui- whom I think is a really sweet and nice girl (: haha!

Have applied to Uni of Lund for Exchange! Ahhhh PLEASE I HOPE I GET IT!!!!!

Whoosh its 2.40am now and I'm still wide awake cause of the great amount of tea I drank today! Green tea, Mos Burger's milk tea and herbal tea! I wonder if its just psychological. haha!

AND SO! Today I tried guitar heroes for the first time at David's place! :D Ahh it was really fun!! (: Even though I'm noob in both, (surprise surprise!) I prefer the drums!! The drums are really fun to whack! I really like how the beat it creates enhances the tune! Joan and Eufei totally own everyone lah, including the owner!! He sadly resides at around my level of skill! :D

After that Eufei and Joan dropped Vivian and I at Clementi station (thanks!!) and I took LRT for the first time from cck to bukit panjang! :D I was so lousy lah I couldn't find the LRT station at cck station!? Why didn't they put signs there to direct lost souls like me lol! Anw the LRT is really cool! It has no driver (ya I really didn't know that! and ck tells me NEL also has no driver!!) and the windows auto clouds up when its passing through the HDBs!! At first I thought I was imagining things hahaha!

Then it was mug mug mug time!

ah I feel so dumb lah I woke up an hour early for school cus I saw the time wrongly! lol! Somemore I was sleeping so comfortably and wishing that I could just have another fifteen minutes in bed! Hmph!

School is getting busy busy! I have a mountain of backlog at work despite fervent efforts to stay consistent this sem! /: Sucks man! Assignments, presentations and projects are piling up again! My only comfort is that there is NO SCHOOL tmr! (: So tonight its gna be ultimate frisbeeeee with the people! (: I haven't exercised for DAMNNNN long la, unless you count Wii :D Then tmr's gna be Guitar Heroes in the morning at David's house before I meet my sis to study! I really really need to study!

Happy Valentine's Day to you, you and YOU! (:

Honestly, Valentine's day just feels different from normal! The atmosphere is brighter, sweeter and happier, be it whether you spend this day with your best friends, boyfriend/girlfriend, or other loved ones.. As I was cruising down town on 190 with my cat, I saw peddlers selling bouquets of flowers and tiny stuff toys, girls hugging big teddies or holding helium-filled balloons, friends laughing and jostling around together, couples hand in hand.. (: Its such a nice and complete scene.

I had a really wonderful day with my cat (: I really didn't want the day to end when it did. But now that is has, I shall blog about it in detail so I can look back and read this and remember how exactly I felt today.

So my cat came to pick me up at my place, both of us dressed to the nines, as we are heading for our first fine dining experience!

Since we were meeting early, we went to Ben and Jerry's at Cathay for some ice cream and music. It was open mike night and we lounged at the bartop counter to catch the bands play. Ck was being his usual sweet self- he told me that I'm prob made up of 60% fats aftet wobbling my arm thoughtfully ): I tried to gek my muscles but they failed me! lol! We also talked about him performing in gigs next time! He wants to go topless and spot long permed hair to distinguish himself as a cool drummer /: Can you imagine?!?! I think he will look like a pre-historic Ape. lol!

At about six thirty, we left to trek to the place ck was intending to bring me. He kept the location a secret other than disclosing that I'll have to dress up so I was pretty excited (: In getting there, we got quite lost and ended up taking a cab, only to find that the place we were looking for was just across the road! -.- Finally, we arrived at the destination! Its a restaurant called Sage located at Mohammad Sultan Road! The outside looks quaint and kinda low-key but a peek through the glass revealed a very pretty and contemporary setting, lit by the soft glow of candlelights. Ahh, nice ambience (:

The first dish was Escargot and lentils wrapped in Savoy cabbage with parmesan au gratin (?!). Every course has a really fancy and delicious description but frankly, I don't know what half the menu was talking about! lol! That kinda added to the fun though cus every dish was a surprise!

It was my first time having escargot in a non-zicha style! ck commented that they tasted like soil! LOL! That turned me off a little /:

While waiting for the second dish, it was present exchange time! I got for my cat a new shaver and shaving cream from Crabtree and Evelyn as well as several framed photos of us while he got me a beautiful necklace from SK jewellery. Thank you dear! (: I love it very much! I'll upload a close up of it next time!

Next up was a fish dish! Ocean Trout with naval orange and balsamic cloud! (!?)




As it is with fine dining, the food is top notch and delicious but the portion is PUNY! I suspect the portions are made sooooo tiny so you'll kinda try to savour the food better and it makes you crave for more! haha! Ck looked at his trout and told me we can probably head out for Roti Prata after dinner! hahaha! That funny boy!

The next one is a delicacy: Foie Gras with poached grapes!!! Yum! I love it and since ck didn't fancy it much (yay!), I ate up both servings! :DD


Three starters and bread and butter before the grand arrival of the main course! This is totally new to me man. My main course was veal and it was fabulous! My cat had monk fish (hes a cat lah haha) and it was very nice too!!

Finally, it was dessert time! (: Strawberry Souffle! It looks very good so ck looks very happy at first! hahaha!



But after tasting it, we realise it wasn't that nice. In fact, it tasted a wee bit funny, hence the expressions:

I had my first taste of playing Wii today at WeiYan's house and the verdict is...
I'm really dreadful!!! hahaha! I tried playing the dancing one and I think I made the elephants look really graceful. lol!

Econs in Uni is a total killer man /: Full of eeky math and graphs! We spent hours pouring over this week's assignment and it wasn't even all that fruitful /: But thank goodness for such assignments cus its only today that I realise I have ALOT of reading to do!! I can't even attempt any of the questions without having to spend 20 minutes diciphering what the question was even asking for. What a nightmare! //:

After our work was done, ck's parents came to pick me up for dinner (in part to celebrate ck's dad's birthday as well as vday)! (: We went to IMM's Long Beach and the food was fantabulous!!



The chilli crab was SUPERB! (: I was the lucky girl who got the pincer (hee hee!) and the meat was oomphhhhh! Frigging good! Chankeet is hilarious lah he went to kiap his crab shell with the kiap-kiap and all the sauce flew the air and landed on my dress in little orange polka dots!!! HAHA! Make me look like I'm a greedy little five-year-old.

I miss my cat loads (: Really happy to see him today!

Saturday was my idea of a perfect day, spent in a mix of blissful luxury and lazy comfort with my cat! (:

Firstly, we had jap buffet at Himawari for lunch!! Its really superb with a wide variety of quality food (so much that I don't have the stomach space to try everything! ): in a classy and traditional jap-looking setting! I think I didnt really unleash my power and eat damn alot though! After a while I was pretty full alr! haha! Must be the shabu shabu soup and the chawanmushi, which was the best I've ever eaten and I gobbled down 4! haha!







The shabu shabu steamboat was fabulous! (: Its soup was already super tasty and sweet and the addition of loads of veges and mushrooms and meat totally enhanced the flavour to the max!! Damn nice lah! Ahh I feel like eating it again now!!

After the buffet, ck and I were walking around to digest and we apotted a little clearing with a swing-bench!! wheeeeee! So we went over to relax and camwhore! :D

After this we headed to Vivocity (: Since we had nothing to do, we decided to laze at the open roof terraces armed with an ice-cold smoothie! And ck did what he can always do anytime, everywhere-- he fell alseep!! lol! Made me look like I'm so boring !@#$%

When evening came, we decided to hike up Mt Faber! (: (Good thing I didn't see Daniel spying at people :D ) Its the Land of the Staircases and a torture for my flabby legs lol!



Finally, we reached the top and I felt so victorious haha! Isn't it pretty up there? (: We sat on the benches facing the singapore skyline, listened to music and watched the sunset that wasnt there! haha!

After that, ck brought me to The Jewel Box for a drink (: They actually have 4 dining places there and we went to the alfresco one called "Moonstone" for drinks and finger food! My camera ran out out batt then so I could only take pics with my laopok phone )): Notice the difference in the quality of photos!


I had a strawberry magarita and ck had a pineapple rum flavoured cocktail called pina colata or sth. We also shared a basket of chicken wings and drumlets! (: Yummy! It was really nice to sit there in the chilly night breeze, listening to the live band, and enjoying drinks with my dear (:

Finally, we ended the night with a ride in the cable car! (: We took one round from mt faber to habourfront to sentosa and then back to harbourfront, enjoying the scenery from a bird's eye view. And that sums up my perfect day! (: Thank you my cat for the most wonderful company! <3

The weekends are coming to an end again /: Sian! Back to school tmr! Hope everyone have a great week ahead! Loveee!

I'm finding little motivation to study, even with the knowledge that this semester is scarily short! Recess week is actually in 3 weeks time!! Didnt school like, just start?! /: Unbelievable man. And I can't believe I have to go through this cycle 8 times before I graduate. 8 frigging times!

(Bidding, Lectures, Tutorials, Projects, Exams) x 8!

But better 8 times then 6 lah haha.

Anw, I was doing my stats tutorial and I found myself unbelievably bored /: This is usually the time I'll be talking to ck on the phone but he has gone outfield for 4 days! ): So abandoning my incomplete tut, I went to research on this jap restaurant instead for our saturday feast! After all, he's eating 4 days of combat rations and they taste just so good.
