feel a little something

Concluded my working stint at DST international yesteday and the result:

A $300 paycheck! (:

Not too bad for six days of work! At the very least, it was enough to cover my Malaysia trip with gasp!- a bit of leftover!! (:

Genting/KL trip was fun to the max!! Honestly, I had a really really really good time with my friends. There was nothing more I could have asked for in a trip (: I would really love to document the entire trip right down to the littlest details, but that would be really long winded! A summary will suffice then! (:

We boarded our Five-Star coach at 11 and it was off to Genting we go!! (:

We spent the time camwhoring, monkeying around, watching movies and trying to catch some sleep.. In a blink of an eye, we have arrived..! (:

..at FirstWorld hotel! Look at hweee, all wrapped up like she's in some winter country! haha! The weather was superb albeit misty. I love it! (:

First, it was wash up time..

and then breakfast at Merrybrown's!
Since the theme parks were still closed, we explored the place and took lots of pictures!

with posters..

on the carousel..

with the "Eiffel Tower"...

and even with insects! haha!

We waited and waited and waited and waited until FINALLY- the theme parks opened!! And the horrifying day of twists and turns and of stomach flipping and heart wonking rides begannnnnnn!

Ahhh! This ride- the Corkscrew- is effing scary!!! but SHIOK!!

Don't be deceived by my smiling face, I WAS DYING INSIDE!

We went on the Viking.. (jx and I damn loser)

basked in the sun as the mist cleared..

and flagged for the London Bus! (:

MORE SCARY RIDES!

this time on a single carriage!! YIKS!

We almost got eaten up by the dinosaur..!

but at the end of the day, everyone was more than alive! (:

Dinner was at kenny rogers, followed by some shopping and then ice creammmm. Everyone was shag aft our long day and we all retired to bed with our roomies ((:

NEXT DAY, we apparated to KL, where the 4-star hotel awaits! (:

The feeling of apparating down the winding roads of Genting was not good!

But the sight of the pretty lobby and hotel rooms energized us..!!

and we all ALL ready to CHIONG shopping!! :DD
First stop- Sungei Wang!!

"What's at Sungei Wang?"
"Its like a bigger Far East Plaza!!!!"
"*HYSTERICAL SCREAMS*"

Time to fill our tummies first! (:

Everyone making their life decision..

my delicious and FREE(complimentary!!) penang laksa! (:

Us in shoe shops after shoe shops. We spent like around 4 hours just to cover the first two floors (: Shiokness!!

becks and I were not just shopping..

but eating alot!! yummy! (:

And finally, our catch for the day! ((:

We then proceeded to the KL night market (Petaling Street) for the best dinner of all- CLAYPOT RICE AND POPIAH!! (:

looks fantastic, doesn't it!

greedy people :D lol!
We then hit the night market, but it was getting late and they were closing ):- Bought a few things but we got cheated by a bad dishonest uncle ):

not birdie, very eagle!! BLEAGH! lol! private joke!

We left the night market and chanced upon a van selling durian!! The mao shan was FANTASTIC, so despite the fact that it cost RM50 for ONE durian, we were all VERY satisfied! :D

durian eaters terrorizing the non durian eaters haha!

Our final stop was at a convenience store, to get some drinks! (:

Despite getting lost for a while, we managed to find our way back to the hotel! :D And all of us crashed for the night! Okay not excatly, my roomies fio and hwee and I stayed up yakking til 4am! ((:

Day 3 left! (: To be continued...

A happy girl today.

My life is mad exciting! I actually went on a DURIAN tour to Malaysia!! :D Together with the bad boyfriend and his parents! (: Sounds super greedy right! haha! As if eating in Singapore isn't enough! During the trip, I saw quite alot of interesting things and had lots of fun with really good company from my cat! Its my first time going on a day trip across the courseway too and I find it quite enjoyable-ish really. No luggage to lug around or worry about. All I need is my little red passport (:

On the coach!

We passed by lots of sprawling pastures and clusters of rundown farmhouses. I even saw one or two bulls and some chickens running around. So cute! Ck and I spent the time very productively on the coach- we listened to Adam Khoo's audio seminar previews (: I like them!

First stop was for a light breakfast after getting stuck at the customs for an hour! We had chee cheong fun at some coffee shop and I think its distinctly Malaysia style because other than the ccc there was meatball and taupok that kind inside!? Quite cool!

Yummy!

Then the highlight of the day cameee! Lunch was fried beehoon and curry at this resort place with FREE FLOW OF DURIANS!!! OMG! But DAMN sadly, I'm still recovering from my flu and I only ate two seeds T.T

Photos!

my arm looks stick-y!

ck's parents! haha his dad is so cute right, holding the two durians up so enthusiastically!

Our turn! My durian is bigger and meaner than yours, ck! :D

an interesting piece of wall! lol!

Durians and more durians! (:

Camwhoring on the coach as we digested the food! :D

We then visted this biscuit place but it was pretty normal, nth interesting! Ck and I bought a pkt of dried papaya to munch on though, cus we've only seem dried mangoes before (and we love it!!) but not dried papaya! haha! It was fairly nice :D

Next stop was the organic vegetable and dragonfruit farm!! (: I saw a dragon fruit plant for the first time in my life- it has thorns like the cactus!! Betcha didn't know that!! I saw big big pumpkins hanging from vines/trees too! I always thought pumpkins are dug out from the ground! haha!

An unripe dragonfruit!

Pumpkins!

lol his Dad pretending the pumpkin was too heavy!

This is an interesting fruit called "wu fu guo". As in five prosper fruit? I don't know how to direct-translate the word fu. haha!

A reeeeallly tiny dragonfruit spotted by ck! Its the size of my nose! :D

I feel like I'm in Aust or sth! haha!

We then went to the drinks counter to get organic fruit juices! Ck's Mom got ck and I a glass of mixed juice milkshake (dragonfruit + papaya + milk) and a passion fruit to share! (: The dragonfruit juice was really unsweetened so although it must be superrrrr healthy (yay!), it wasn't really tasty (boo!)! The passionfruit one was nicer! Sweetish-sourish with alot of big crunchy seeds inside! I kinda like it until ck commented they tasted like crunchy insects ewww. Then I changed my mind!

After the organic farm I was feeling quite high! I like visits like these (: I shld pay Cameron Highlands a visit someday and pluck my own strawberries! We travelled another one and a half hours on the coach to Msia's shopping centre called Jusco. Nth much in there and even the retail shops were the same as Spore, with almost equivalent prices. Y-a-w-n-s! I HOPE WHEN I GO TO KL IT IS NOT LIKE THAT!!!

Then it was the second highlight of the day- the seafood dinner!! (: The dinner was seriously not bad, but I didn't take any pictures cus everyone dug in straight away haha! Here's the aftermath of dinner though! :D

All wiped up!

Me, very full and with bad hair! ):

and my cat! :D

We then walked around to look at the swimming seafood abt to be made into other people's dinner :D They look alot huger than Singapore's dwellers!

lol! I look really retarded!

And thats the end of the day! ((: Thank you auntie and uncle for the trip! And thanks again dear one for the bestest company! (:

Will be leaving for my Genting/KL trip tmr night with the clique!! (: I hope I manage to buy lotsssssssssss of stuff from the so-called MEGA sale in KL!!! Really excited! I have to work tmr though ): nooooooooo!

Til then people! (: Take care! (:
XOXO

Oh yes and THANK YOU (!!!!!!) to the THREEEEEEE people who popped up to tell me that my blog actually has an audience hahahaha! yay!! LOVEEEEEEE!
