Monday is a study date with Valerie and perhaps Eunice and others ! This is the first time in my sixteen plus plus years on Earth that I'm hitting the library when holidays are only starting! o-m-g! hahah! Valerie's aura must be rubing off me! I remember in Sec One and Two, I'll be rushing holiday homework with ShaoJian at the eleventh hour and in Sec Three and Four, its with HuiXinnnn! hahahah! The outcome is of course, that we both cannot finish our work! We split the work instead. -grins

Yesterday, our class went out to watch "The Prestige" which was really good! Its way cool the way so many things just fall into place at the end of the movie when at first, its super confusing lah! When we discussed the show aft the movie, there are still things where I'll go "OH YEAH HORH I DIDN'T REALISE!" hahahah! So amazing. I was having alot of trouble telling all the characters in the movie apart though cus everyone, especially all the people above fifty, look the same! Honestly! sorry eunice! -sheepish ;D

My perception of magic shows also changed cus all the while, magic shows to me are the kinds where the magicians are happy clowns who pull never-ending colourful hankerchiefs out of their pockets. Never occured to me that it can be so competitive, secretive and dangerous.

Yesterday, my sister and I combined powers to paint smelly, dark brown wood lacquer on the nine doors in the apartment! NINE! nineeeeeeeeeeeeeee! It doesn't sound alot but omg trust me, IT IS! In case you forgot (like I did), a fully functional door has two sides! If thats not bad enough, the doors have all the weird patterns on it! grrrrrr.

At first when we started, my sister and I were like "ooh this is so fun!" HAHAHAH! :D Then as we moved on, I could feel the f-u-n word slowly mutating and mutliplying itself into "omg what were we thinking just now?!" and then further manipulating itself into "painting sucks painting suckssss!" hahah!! The lacquer smell was truely overwhelming it was smelly and choking beyond description. I sincerely wanted to adapt from the Taliban fashion and smother myself in cloth leaving only my eyes to glare at the paintbrush, the paint and the door.

Honestly, I am amazed that I finished painting and still lived to tell the tale.

But of course, the doors look really great after my sister and I weaved magic with the paintbrushes! :D Great sense of satisfaction, really. Next time we ought to open some company.

A trip to Far East never fails to result in a fat yueqi. I had a huge feast of the Oyster Mee Sua and XXL chicken at Shih Lin, and the Honeydew Sago from SweetTalk. And then I drank a huge cup of green tea due to the excessive dosage of MSG. As usual, I was suffering in silence throughout as ChrisSeah and Sean take turns to insult poor, innocent me. How can anyone bear to do that right? (mock sigh) Yeahhh, I'm clueless too ):

After eating, we walked to Lido and then sat down to chat cause we could think of nothing to do. I was telling them about my Gram and I realise I miss her plenty cause she is soo cute! fat fat one (: So nice to erm, poke.

And, she looks so kind! The type you will definitely approach first when you get lost haha. I remember she loves to make bracelets for us with little colourful beads and she'll teach me how to thread them!

Another day spent in lalafantasyland. Winningly Wonderful. For just this once, I'm not in school pathetically on some nice rainy day, wishing wistfully that I will disappear off the face of the school and zap my way back home and right into my bed! haha. Furthermore, it was reported in The Straits Times that children/teenagers who do not get sufficient sleep might suffer from obesity. I am merely ensuring that such a scenerio does not happen to me. Sleep more good, yes? (:

hahahahah I just found out not long ago that Zhuting's pet porcupine is more than meets the eye so I went to play with her Ouch and omg it is so cuteeee! :D I was making it chase after the strawberries and its really retarded beyond words! hehhehhehheh! Fed it with ten strawberries but it didnt grow fat! ): so sad! I was hoping it'll get rounder and rounder and rounder!

Anw, I'm so tired now! (: Today was spent helping my Dad do some repair work at this house that he acquired recently. I varnished the whole set of kitchen cabinets and changed the handles on them! ooh I am so multitalented with the screwdriver and the er, paintbrush! hahah! Maybe I should aspire to be a Carpenter next time and haunt my unfortunate clients :D
After that, we went down to the gym and worked out a little. Super unglam lah I saw this huge, very interesting looking machine so I went to try and lift this handle bar-looking thing and by some unexplained phenomenon, the weights clanked down SO LOUDLY everyone inside turned to look at me. hahahahahah I nearly died of embarassment! Worse still, my Dad did not sympathise but started guffawing loudly at his poor sad daughter. Haiyoh! /:

Swam a little but it was kinda hazy so we got out of the pool pretty fast. Then my sister and I went to rot in the Sauna. It's my first time getting into one and its pretty good to relax in! (: You honestly sweat like a tap after staying in it for twenty minutes so you can bluff yourself that you've ran ten kilometres or sth hahahah! Helps you feel healthy!

Went to school and handed it our Written Report! At long last! hahah (: I guess it kinda signals that our PW journey is about to end (:
Our group presented a seocnd time for op and Dr Siva asked me a most alien question! He actually asked if I'm a dancer! HAHAHA! A dancer?! It's like someone asking if I'm a chef! I swear my jaw hit the floor and the expression on zhuting's face was a classic! hahahahah! If he sees me dance just once, he'll know he has made a terrible mistake.
I totally sprouted rubbish during the Q and A part and I got a feeling history will repeat during the real Oral Presentation. Its like I say say say and then I realise, whoops I'm not making much sense! hahahah!

Three and a half hours of Econs just increased my Sit-and-Stone stamina by a thousand fold. We did everything we could think of to entertain ourselves:

Went home to change after that before heading out to meet yinyee! We went to HK cafe and had a feast!

Today, my mind suddenly told me I've changed. It was probably something I was doing and then the words just registered in my mind, "You're so different now". Not in the sense that I've become an evil girl from a good girl, or a good to an evil one. Just that, I suddenly realise that I have undergone a near 180 degrees change. A change at its climax.

I really miss the feeling of totally letting loose and talking to someone I feel really really understand me. I despise the way I manipulate myself to think in a certain way to make myself feel better. I realise now it isn't part of positive thinking. It is self denial.

Maybe I just need some committments. Maybe I need to throw all of my soul into doing something and love it with all my heart until it becomes part of the air that I breathe. Perhaps the influx of new and unfamiliar emotions in me have totally upset this balance.

Anyway, this is all random. I guess I have been trying so hard to explain this new found feeling of insecurity within me. Maybe this is it.

I'm sure I'll find the answer to all these soon. Someone told me last time that there's always an answer and a reason for everything that happens. And I believe it. (:

Okay! Enough of emo-ing around! Let me tell you all a secret! I...I didn't go to school today! And I wasn't really sick. haha. Duh, like you all don't know. But anyway, I decided to pack my stuff cause they're really messy and even me, the Queen of Messiness according to Isabelle the Neat Freak, did not find my messy room homely anymore. Sadly, I'm only halfway through so there're tons of papers shrewed all over the place and about ten thousand bags of filled ntuc plastic bags. Never fails to amaze me the amount of rubbish I accumulate :D

And in the process of packing, I found so many little pieces of treasures that I never thought I will see again! (: The crumpled notes and the little gifts, even sth like a snoopy plaster. Everything sort of holds one specific memory that I'll never want to forget (:

Oh and I met up with the class girls at Taka for lunch! :D While they went back to school, I went to the library to get some books while waiting for hs since the girl ends at around one.

MooMoo is so cute! He is lying at the door waiting for my Dad to come home. He does this everyday when six oclock comes. SOO CUTE. My Mom says he waits for me everyday at around four too. I shall try not to disappoint him as far as possible hahaha.

Post Promos is so much fun under the sun. We go to school, slack from eight in the morning til one in the afternoon, depriving ourselves of sleep in the process, to be rewarded with two and a half hours of PW. This just goes to show how much effort (no sarcarsm intended) our school put into planning post promo programmes for us. Even watching ChrisSeah the Spastic compete with Zhuting for a high score in pinball at the school library became interesting /:

We went to Cosy Corner for lunch and on the way back, Zhuting and I went to the German Market Place cause I wanted to get Haribo gummies and that is when we saw happy hippos! :D So, we bought one for each other. hahaha.

Afterschool I went to meet up with my sister and brother for Fish and Co.! (: Anw, we tried this hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee drink called the "Sea Monkey Breeze" there which is really H-E-A-V-E-N-L-Y! I think the cup is like about the size of.. Yong's face? hahahah! Sorry about the lack of another apt comparison. And we polished off a seafood platter for two and a prawn pasta in chilli cream sauce :D yummm.

Yawns, I just woke up from the greatest nap of the century! (: I slept like a log despite occasional disturbances whereby my over-affectionate dog tried to plant several kisses on me with its wet nose since I was conveniently sprawled on the sofa. It was only til I put his favourite toy (the cane) beside me that he left me alone. haha. Anw, I got home early today cause my Mom called and told me she cooked sth good so I should go home and eat! And guess what she cooked! Bak Kut Teh! Except it was replaced by chicken. Yummm (:

On the way home, the security uncle of the neighbouring condo to whom I always wave hello to waved me over and gave me a packet of Oreos! haha surprise surprise! Come to think of it, I've met some of the cutest old old uncles in the world. I remember when I was in Primary Six or sth, theres this old old uncle who will give me apples and like, fifty cents occasionally when he sees me around! hahahah!

Anw, we got back all our papers today! Honestly, the only paper I did okay for was GP- the one paper we didn't have to study for /: This is indeed a depressing sign. hahaha. Now I just hope the teachers don't flunk my Econs grade. Otherwise, Yong will really owe me ten movies and ten meals. This is a one-way deal Yong! Don't try to cheat the innocent! :D
Can't wait for everything to be finalised lah. I think I'll have to downgrade a subject next year so maybe I'll drop bio to H1. It might just be better for me cause my sciences really sucks! Its pointless now to say but I should have taken Arts subjects instead of Science! Too bad I was obstinate and wanted Science because its more in lieu with what I wanna be next time. haha. But now that I'm here, I'll just deal and hope my brain alters its tertiary/quarternary/primary structures to become POOF! SCIENCE INCLINED! yeah right! hahaha but still, go go fighting yueqi! :D

heehee. Today's stay-home Saturday! I kinda miss staying at home and having time for myself to just, rot and play with MooMoo and talk to my Mom (: So its a nice day today. Initially I was planning on going out to meet Mushroom but I have a family dinner at night so we changed it to next week. Sorry girl!

And so one more week of post promos have passed and we'll prob get back all our results by next Monday. I can't really hope for anything more than just to get promoted so yeah, pray hard! Anw, just to recap alittle! Our group stayed over at Yong's on Sunday for PW. It was okay-ly productive cause we finished the third draft for our Written Report and then...
we proceeded to watch Full House through the night hahah!! Yong and I were the ultimate survivals cause Eunice and ReiHorng zonked out at two plus and three plus respectively while we watched the show all the way til 5 in the morning! PRO EH! I didn't really sleep though cause rh and eunice were on either side of me and Yong was at the end so I was kinda scared I'll kick them or sth so I just went into the sleep-in-class kinda sleep haha.
After school I met up with my Crescent darlings Joanne, HuiXin, Dawnnie and YunJia! Sorry I wasn't really high or anything cause I was really damn tired! We ate at pepperlunch (which was really good lets go there again!) and then mrt-ed to Vivocity! That place is gigantic but most of the stores were still closed so it isn't that nice yet! Can't wait to go there again after its grand opening! Left them early cause my Mom wanted me home for dinner plus my eyelids were getting heavier by the second ugh. We'll catch up again soon and go out every two weeks like we've planned to yah! (: love you guys!

Anw today was fun! Met up with hongfei aka my brother cause he was so nice and wanted to celebrate my bithday with me! So we went to kbox then aft that we caught some scary movie called "Staying Alive". I was quite freaked out during the show and hid behind my Apollo shirt most of the time but heh now I'm not so scared already cause its about some computer game thing where the players die one by one once its game over and since I dont game, its not so bad! I hate horror shows that are relevant in my life! esp those with creepy scenes in the toilet or lifts! In the subsequent weeks I lead the life of a coward cause I bathe at the speed of lightning and I dont dare to look at the mirrors when I'm in the lift! HAHAHA. I know I know. It's pathetic. But I cant help it! haha.

After that we had about an hour plus to kill so we took 171 all the way to Marina and then back to school where I joined the girls and we went to ntuc to get our favourite California Rolls (: yippee! MAP celebrations were pretty cool cause the light ups and all were really nice and the mass dance was hilarious with Sophia as my partner. I realise I'm a really pathetic girl-part dancer cause I'll never be able to turn/twirl correctly and I was just flapping around clumsily hahaha. Rotted at the classbench for a while where stupid ChrisSeah and Simon and ReiHorng kept calling me bones/stick and then Yong went to say sth like I'll float away if I hold Siyun's big balloon! Like what theeee! hahaha those twits lol. After that we headed to KAP for supper but then I decided to go home earlier cause I know my parents will be worried if I stay out too late with all the bad air and bad guys that they think always seem to be around! I am such a good girl! (:

hello world! :D I haven't blogged for ages cause any extra/free time I have, I've decided to spend in lalaland with the handsome sandman! Sooooo, I have loads to update on! Just that I can't remember anymore. Just a brief recap!

Promos are finally over. Like PHEW. I think I've never took a worse exam and I've never felt as lousy during an exam. All that last minute studying totally killed me and with my immune system low and lousy, I missed two papers. What the hell. But during this period of time I've learnt two important lessons. Like what soph tells me her dad always say, prep for exams is just like preparing for war, but taking the paper is fighting the war itself. Ultimately what's most important is to be present and ready to take the paper. And of course, the other is that last minute studying doesnt work in jc. I should get that thought drilled into my head or sth I'm always some pathetic last minute chionger.

BUT, everythings over! I can only pray I don't have to repeat C1 or sth. Right now, I'm just gonna play hard and not think too much lah. Wish me luck man I'm gonna need it.

On a lighter note, I have to thank everyoneeee for wishing me happy birthday during the sad sad day smack in the middle of promos! THANKYOU so much for making the day special for me! All my crescent friends, and current classmates/schoolmates and seniors. I love you all! xie xie ni men! (: hahah!

FOS these few days have been totally rocking! 75 really rocks! (: I can't really remember the excat sequence of events but everything was just so nice and fun and sporting and exciting and cool, which really made this event infinitely memorable. Andddddd, we got third in frisbee and second in indoor rowing! :D totally rocking!
