ever ever after

Its a Tuesday and I'm happily sprawled on my bed slacking! (: haha! I've finally succumbed to fever and flu after all that incessant eating in the office! My guess of what finally did me in must be that gigantic yummy chocolate egg from xian limei yesterday! lol! Woke up feeling really shitty with a throbbing headache and alternate spells of hot and cold. One moment I'll be hiding under my comforter shivering and feeling realy cold with goosebumps, and the next I would be feeling really warm and kicking my blanket off. Damn sian. But I'm feeling much better after sixteen solid hours of sleep! haha! Sleeping really does wonders man.

Big thanks to my colleagues LiMei, Kaijie and EEEE-deline for their texts the moment they heard I was unwell and would be ponning work! So touched (: And of course those from ck! (: Thank you! (:

Some updates from the past week! I made my first batch of cookies for ck for Valentine's day! hahaha! Wednesday was spent at Carrefour armed with my recipe to get the ingredients needed to bake chocolate chip cookies! Thanks Kaijie for the company! My very reliable P-I-C hahaha! I was at quite a loss as to what to buy and PIC was completely useless!! :P Okay lah, other than the fact that he told me one cup of sth in the baking world usually means 250ml! :D Is that even correct? hahaha! Baked them on Friday and I think they turned out quite okay :D Mian qiang lah lol!

Creaming the mixture "until it is light and frothy" lol!

The cookies totally started expanding in size once it got into the oven! haha! So fun!

Met ck early on Sat and we went to watch L! L is so cute! ((: Think its quite an alright show but a little on the long side. I wanna watch PS I love you next! I hope its still available next Sat when ck books out! Lunched at PS then we went down for the NTU talks but wth, the room for the Accountacy and Business talk was stuffed to the brim so in the end, I decided to just abandon my attempt to catch what the prof was saying since all I could hear were various phrases and all I could see were the heads of other people! Slacked at the Starbucks at Suntec and ck gave me a tiny bouquet of nine rocher roses that he made himself (: So sweet! Just what I've always dreamt about! (: Thanks dear (: And they came with a plastic bag of like twenty rocher chocolates! hahaha! I can tell the success rates for your roses arent that high! lol!

ck brought me to Chijmes for dinner and I tried my first alcholic drink outside! lol! My middle name is suaku lah I know. Its called After Eight and I think its really really nice! It has this rich vanilla taste and a light alcoholic touch, abit like those moist liquor chocolate cakes! Bliss! (: We ate at a restaurant called Bobby's and the food was not bad too! Pictures!

ck sent me home and I was totally falling asleep on the bus. I think alchohol makes me sleepy. haha!

Squad dinner at Thai Express yesterday was great, although the attendance was only a grand six people! hahaha! I really miss my squadmates and our activity times back at Crescent! Talking about those times over dinner really gives me a warm, fuzzy sense of nostalgia! (: Camp, the disastrous BBQ, Mrs Yip, strange ghost sightings and crazy times in the RC room! haha! I was just asking Limei yesterday which period of her life she would choose to repeat if she had the chance. For me, I think it still be my Secondary sch days with my squadmates (: Those times remain closest and dearest to me even after all these while. Sentosa trip next, people! :D Hugsssss! Pictures next time!

in the name of love.
