A continuation from the previous post, presenting the THIRD day (also the last day) at KL! ((:

Breakkie!

Shopppping!

The twin towers in KL! (:

Pwretty pictures! We had a really really heavy hotel breakfast (yummy!!) before heading to Midvalley shopping mall for yet another shopping spreee! It was really really hugeeee with alot of familiar big brand names (TOPSHOP, Dorothy Perkins, Mango etc), but being cheapos most of us prefer Fareast Plazas to Paragons so didn't get much there! We had really cheap Manhattan's Fish Market though! It was too cheap and worth the money to miss!! haha! Next, we were off to KL's famous Petronas Towers! (: We took many pretty photos there and sat on the green green grass to chill while waiting for thesun to set! After grabbing A&W, we cabbed back for one last shopping spree at Sungei Wang (Thank you Jx for accompanying us! (:) and then it was time to head back to SINGAPOREEEEEE!

OR SO WE THOUGHT!

We actually missed our coach back!!!!! Can you believe it!?

Let me tell you the exciting story.

We were all packed, ready to leave and the hotel's limousine sent us to the bus terminal. We were still pretty early, and as we stood around the bus bay waiting for Jx to register with the Five Stars booth, we drooled at the thought of the bus's comfy seats and a good night sleep on the bus! SUDDENLY, we saw Jx sprinting towards us!!! And in breathless tones, he told us that we were at the WRONG BUS TERMINAL!!!! Bloody lousy hotel limousine service!!! Quickly we sprinted, bags luggage and all, to flag for a cab. Three cabs actually, for the twelve of us. In the cab, Jx frantically tried to contact the Five Star office, but it was too late! The bus has left!! //:

And so it was back to the hotel we went. When we finally reached the place from where we had left not too long ago, the cab driver turned to us and said, "40 riggit please". That, if you don't know, if DAYLIGHT ROBBERY- considering the fact that the bus terminals werent even that far. (Taxis there seldom run by meter but rather by good old quotation). We were abt to give the money since we were all alr in shock from missing our bus when our Hero, Troy appeared and started scolding the cab driver!

Apparently, this horrible cab driver actually went to collude with the other 2 cab drivers to all charge us 40 bucks, which is mad expensive!! Because we were in the first cab, we werent aware that our driver got down and went to talk to the other cabbies (in malay) to baka together to cheat us!! In Econs term this is PRICE FIXING OKAY! It is illegal! Basket! But our brave Troy (who I think can understand bits of Malay) scolded him ferociously until the uncle gave in. Hes damn shit lah, in the end he took 35 riggit and went to tell the other cabbies to charge 25 riggit each -.- Evil right!

And then, another war begun with the hotel- who tried to push all the blame to the limousine company blahhhhhh. Our heroes Max and Jx spent the wholeeeeeeee night talking to them for hours and hours as the Hotel and the Limousine company played the Pass-the-Blame game to tense, backstabbing music. It was 2 plus am nearly 3 before the hotel finally opened 2 rooms to house us all.

The next morning the negotiation went on, and our wonderful guys finally settled everything (: The lousy limousine company would pay for our extra night at the hotel!

Exciting right!! haha! And finally it was Home Sweet Home after the unexpectedly extended holiday (:

I really had a wonderful trip and it has created such fond memories for me. I'm sure all the girls, including me, will never forget how well the guys took care of us and of the whole unexpected situation. Thank you guys!! (: And thank you girls (Auntie Mel, Auntie Fiona and so on..) for making the whole terse situation so funny at that time.

I cannot stop smiling (:

in the name of love.
