Find yourself in solitude.

"Who are you, I dare ask? Where are you? What are you doing, exactly? Why?
To find out I’ve a suggestion: quit work, take a leave of absence from work or school, and buy that one-way ticket to nowhere.
To travel alone is to find the answers you’ve been seeking and discover the questions to all your unfounded thoughts. It is your world. It is your adventure."

Feeling rather inspired after reading some articles and blogs on travelling alone. I have always been a more social person than not. Although I love having time for myself, like the idea of shopping alone and is happy to sit at a cafe by myself, people-watching and reading the day away, for the most part, I love having friends and company.

So although I obviously hope (okay, fervently pray) that I am going to have a bunch of cool friends in Korea, I resolve to have some time alone with myself in the foreign land, and learn to be a little more free spirited.

Dates with the cat (:
Look at ck all grown up now :D He has officially ditched his glasses for contacts!!

Enjoying some Gusstimo goodness! (: Me likes their green apple sorbet! But I still prefer Bravissimo.

And some regular pictures. I look like I'm missing my front tooth and there's ck proclaiming that his eyebrows are his best feature -.-

Dong Dae Mun's biggest fan! (:

After that we walked around Ion for the hundredth time (omg what do ppl do in spore???) before heading to Farrer Park! Ck was gg to bring me to the famous jian dao jian (scissors cut) curry rice!! :D I am not such a great fan of curry (unless its asam) but I've seen it on TV foodie shows so was quite keen to try also!

Tadah!! (I got this off Google cus I'm too lazy to upload frm my bb but it looks 99% the same-- stuff in a mess of curry :D)

Doesn't look like much right but it is GOOOOOD! (: even for a non-curry fan like me. See how generous they are with the sauce, such that every single thing is drenched in curry goodness :D I love their braised pork and pork cutlet!! Yums.

After dinner we went to walk around City Square mall at Farrer Park, which is for some reason, Spore's first eco mall. Cotton On was having a sale there so ck and I scouted around for cheapo deals and I got myself a casual denim vest for just $15!! So cheap! :D Ck bought himself 2 shirts (: Then having nth to do, we just cam-whored the rest of the night away!

Tee hee! (: It feels good to have all the time in the world to spend together! Muacks!

And must show off my bargain purchase again! lol!

Having run out of stuffs to do, we actually whiled our time away at the arcade yesterday, playing basketball, bishi bashi and racing. We also got ourselves a new friend!!!

Tadah!
This is no ordinary little stuff toy because... WE CAUGHT IT FROM THE CLAW MACHINEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

The very first toy we successfully picked up :D I know its all small and sad but we jumped ten feet the air and shrieked in joy (maybe not so kuazhang) when we saw that we were successful!!! Definitely one of the most exhilarating moments of the day! :D I am grinning now as I recall our shocked reactions hahaha!

"The Claw" (: Just fyi, this little creature originated from Toy Story haha! Super lame one!

Ck forced me to watch Nightmare on Elm Street with him too //: I have stayed far away from horror/gore flicks since being frightened to death by the Exocism of Emily Rose in secondary three, where I was like haunted by scenes of it for weeks after the trauma in the cinema!!! /: So even though this film wasn't that scary, I still spent half the time with fingers in my eyes and the other half with my head under my jacket. AND I had nightmares about Freddy last night. Hrrumph!

Tmr is my sister's last two papers!!! I wish and pray that it'll all be alright and she will come home, all smiles, tomorrow (:

in the name of love.
