Anneyong Haseyo! (:

Ah I'm back in my room early for once (: And I have time to put up a good long post! It's been a long time since I updated properly. So here goes:

Korea is really a very nice place and I'm loving it more and more. I love the girls that I always hang out with: (:

Here we are, doing some grocery shopping! I look damn auntie with the two huge pkts of seaweed kiaped under my armpit haha! But the seaweed here is really damn good!! I get a seaweed fix every night and my roomie thinks I'm really gross hahaha! But seaweed = healthy!!
Home-cooked dinner party last sunday, a spin off from grocery shopping!! Wenyi and Xiangmin volunteered to cook and started preparing dinner at 4!! So niceeee right!! The rest of us only went there to eat cus we all had mid terms the next day! Ooops! Thanks Mummies 1 and 2! :)
We had beef rib soup with meatballs, tomato ommelette, fried rice, pan-fried meatballs, luncheon meat and mushrooms!! (: Very feng fu lor!! (:
Cheers with yakult haha! :D (alchohol not allowed)

Yesterday I had my virgin try of Ginseng Chicken Soup, something that's really famous here! According to my roomie, yesteday is the hottest day of summer or sth and its a MUST to drink ginseng chicken soup! Very funny hor, koreans like to "yi du gong du"- on super hot days they own themselves with mega heaty stuff haha! I was abit worried that I'll nosebleed to death today but so far, nth happened to me yet :D

Queuing to go into the restaurant! Frm L-R: Roomieeeee, Ida's friend kei ying (I think) and Ida! (: all from HK! I think my canto has become damn zai now haha! I learnt a new word from roomie too! They have this slang word called "hehhhhh", which in their lingo means "damn free and slack"! lol! My roomie always go, "I am very heh!"
LOOK AT THE QUEUE!!! I have NEVER seen sooooo many people queuing outside a restaurant before! And if you think this is the end... you're wrong!! Turn the corner and...
...there's moreeee!! Mad right!! See those tiny people behind the black car on the right? That's where the queue was! Luckily it moved v fast though, cus the restaurant is mad biggg and a supposedly really famous one! (:
Inside the Ginseng chicken restaurant (: Look at how happy roomie is lol! Its the sit on the floor kind of traditonal restaurant and my legs were cramping like nobody's business!
We had one pot each! (: I thought it was just soup and chicken but I was wrong!

Tadah! The chicken's been stuffed with glutinous rice, together with chestnuts and one ginseng (: Not bad quite nice ((:

Hee hee the food really makes me happy (: I love their hot pot thingys too! Had this after school one day at a restaurant just outside KU called BIYA! haha! Free flow of hashbrowns leh! PLUS, the waiter there gave us free drinks, a discount, and kept helping us take pictures. The photos here is he take one lor!
Hot, steaming hotpot! They like to give maggi mee to go with the soup (: Yums!
Very helpful waiter and all of us! (:

Its very fun cus every meal is almost like an adventure! We all can't speak korean and communicating with sign language, pointing and role playing (most commonly as chickens, pigs and cows) is just fun lol! (and puzzling) The svc ppl are all very niceeee and fun! I think they secretly like to serve us and watch us make a fool out of ourselves.

OH! And I have to tell you all a sad story! One day, Liwen bought us to this somewhat old looking restaurant for dinner and when we walked in, it was like damn empty with just one couple at the corner so I was thinking it'll prob just be any regular korean food BUT omg, it turned out t be soooooo nice!!! They had the most fab side dishes, the best kimchi and the main course was damn homecooked and nice tooo!

I know the biscuits very off but do you see that pale yellow stick thingy at the top of the pic? That's like some raw potato thingy and it is damn heavenly!!! And its the first time I see such a side dish lor (: Damn special! Their tofu also had this god-like sauce over it and it was sooo delicious!!
And this hot pot beef stew thing! I didnt eat this cus I chose sth else off the menu and I super regret can!!
Okay but that not the main point!

Anw, the next day I was super gian to eat at this place again so I dragged everyone there and GUESS WHAT, its GONEEEE! Like gone!!! Can you believe it??? It just decided to undergo renovation over night and I'll be gone when its doneee!!! T.T

Damn sad can! ): Sigh.... Really damn sway lor! lol!

Okay end of sad story (:

I'm super happy now cus midterms are over (: I swear I almost died cus I only started studying on sunday, with 9 chapts of marketing and 6 for finance to mug for! haha! But yay I passed both :D Got a C+ for investment analysis (oops) and an A+ for svc mkt! The grading system is abit crazy can?! 70/100 is a C and >95 earns you an A+. Machiam primary school grading system. Then ath below 60 is a fail! O.O

There was a sale at faceshop today and look at the amount of nail polish I bought:

Only 500 won per bottle can!? That's like 60cents!!! :D The two bottles flanking the side cost abt 3000 wont so thats like $3+! Damn I could have bought 12 more bottles!
And must show off my laneige collection haha! I didn't realise that I bought soooo much! No wonder I am so broke ): Like really leh ): At the rate I'm gg I'll have to eat grass in my last week /:

This weekend I'll be gg to Busan with the girls for a 3d2n getaway! (: Can't wait!! I heard the beaches there are beautiful and there's a beeeeeeeeg seafood market to feast at!! Yay!

Til then! (: I do miss Singapore though, esp my family, my cat, moomoo and mimi and my friends! K that's like everybody alr lol! Super wistful can! And yess Mellie-wellieee, KU blocks MSN so I can't go online here unless I use ebuddy which really sucks! ): Add me on skype you all!! (:

in the name of love.
