Damn what happened to all the "I swear I'm never ever going to be so last minute again" while I was dying at the face of adversity just last night? haha. Aiyah erm, four days don't make a difference, right?
Who am I kidding man. During the next round of tests, I can definitely foresee history repeating. Four words- Die Heart Don't Change (si xin bu gai). Oh Manzxz.

Anw, I should recap about the sad sad morning I had hahah! I was like, so damn tired that I absolutely refused to get out of my bed at six so I slept for another hour and got out of my house at seven thirty. Imagine. I read through bio from around ten to two last night and the damned notes sort of replayed itself on the back of my eyelids from two to five while I was trying to sleep. Not in the clear nice format that confers sufficient revision but in mangled chunks filled with question marks. Yeah and so I got out of bed feeling like a crumpled bedsheet.

To add on to my misery, my hair was probably as high-strung as I was and refused to flatten down no matter how much water I piak-ed on it. Consequences of too much bio I think O.O
But the point is, I survived through the paper!! :D :D :D AND, I shan't think about the results for now. All I know is that it isn't going to be pretty /:

Went out for class lunch at Cafe Cartel after that and being carnivorous, Shueli, Zhuting, Soph and I shared a Meat Lovers' Special, Pork Ribs and a Sirloin Steak! haha. Went home after that cause I was really damn sleepy and slipping rapidly into the stoned mode.

"Stoned Mode" is defined as a particular time of the day when you can't think of anything to say and you can't complete your sentences before blanking out and your company is as lively and good as a piece of cardboard.

I'm proned to that between five to six. heh.

Just woke up from a three hour nap (: wahaha. And I'm left with about 1/5 of a day to cram bio. Wow.

Anw, I was so disgusted/annoyed/saddened by chem and maths papers today that I forgot to rejoice that tmr is our last paper!!! YAY! :D

So, all the sad souls in the world with their head stuck in a pile of bio notes, just stay stuck a while more and its freedom tmrrrr! :D

My brain is dead dry. Every last drop of my brain juice was used to think up creative substitutes for answers (please infer) to write to fill up my paper and voila! My brain is dehydrated with a unbelievable 0.00%

And the worse thing is, hydration level in the brain after the paper is directly proportionate to to my exam marks. Reasons being:
1) Alot of brain power is used in trying to force my psychic powers to work during MCQ
2) Its difficult to make your answer make sense when the question makes no sense to you
3) Info required by question was not properly installed in brain and requires a full-blown mental search
Therefore, very low brain juice level in brain = very low marks.

In conclusion. I just failed two papers today.

Tomorrow, its going to be three.

Quick entry and then I'll get offline else Eunice will mock me cus I have "sort of" xia ding jue xin to stop letting the computer ruin my life! Note the inverted commas though. hahaha.

Yep mugged in school with Kailing and Eunice and it was quite productive lah. But as usual I'm a snail mugger so I only finished PNC and abit of Inequalities and I still have loads to go so I'm really quite screwed ): And I'm gonna give up on Sequences I! Looking at all the weird weird symbols makes my eyes go rollie-pollie.

Eunice left at around five and Kailing and I tahan-ed for an hour more and then I really could not absorb already so we went to walk walk around (: Went to the playgroud in Bougainvilla Park (haha yeah we are ever so hip) and sat on the springy one-eyed tortoise. Or at least mine was. Kailing's was er, sth that resembles a fox? hahaha. Then we decided to be healthy so we ran up and down the overhead bridge trice! wahaha! Some auntie saw us and I could see from her face that she clearly thought we had screws loose. She's not really wrong. hahah!

Oh yes in the afternoon a nasty bird came and shitted on/near Eunice's pen! HAHAHAHAH! Damn funny!

Once, there were two man in a park, sawing through trunks after trunks of trees. One of the man was extremely conscientious; he sawed and sawed and sawed, never pausing to take a break. The other man, however, told frequent breaks and whistled cheerily while doing his work. At the end of the day, the conscientious man finally stopped and looked around. To his surprise, the other man's pile of logs was much higher than his! He was puzzled and a little disappointed. How could it be? He was at work the whole day while that man slacked and took his own sweet time!

The other man noticed his dismayed expression and said to him gently, "Sometimes, when you pause to give yourself a breather, you can return to your work feeling much more re-energized and all ready to begin over." The other man looked skeptical.

"And," he continued, "you didn't notice, but while I was resting, I sharpened my saw.."

Moral of the story: Breaks are pardonable.

haha ohkay there is obviously another more sensible moral inside but I have no idea how to put it in words. Sharpen your saw at regular intervals (To apply to studying accordingly). Or as Mrs LBY said, Study Smart!

But, what excatly is studying smart? /: Will it help me to cram a truckload of info into my minute brain in five days?

I'm cheerfully telling myself that after blogging, I might just get into the mood for studying! :D

Supposed to be mugging now but theres Germany against Ecuador! And Wonderful Klose scored two goals in the first half! Aww so pro! hehheh! :D

Went out to mug with the Tan Wei Shen at our all-time-favourite NUS hangout (: And we ate our beloved jiang cong ji! (spring onion chicken) and strawberry milkshake! ooh ooh it's ever so heavenly I can just eat/drink it forever! haha. And the uncle there loves me lah :D

Was okay-ly productive but I conclude the bench where we made ourselves at home is just the perfect place to execute our PW plans because it was infested with insects!! /: UGH. And there was this particular ugly, old, big and wrinkled criket-lookalike dont-know-what-thing that visited me while I was about to nod off onto my chem notes and I was rudely awakened. What a nasty scare. O.O hahaha.

Crapped all the way home laughing like nuts about the things we used to do at NUS at pre-Olevel times. Groaning over our unproductivity, our endless agendas, falling asleep and waking up hours later, our plans to try all the food from the canteens of all the different faculties, drawing ugly rings, throwing the milton sweets around.. hahahahah! We are total boliao people.

Fathers' day celebrations today! The ever so fillial YAO-siblings bought our Dad this set of Braun Buffel wallet and keyholder thing so now I'm even broker than usual! It's so expensive okay! hehheh. But the leather is like so nice to touch so I guess its worth it! :D hahaha.

Anw, its sooooo sweet cus I realise my Dad keeps a photo of my Mom in his wallet and it has been there for the past what, thirty years? Awwww! (:

uh then we went for brunch at Crystal Jade and ate alott haha. Unfortunately, the branch at ToaPayoh doesnt seem to be as nice as the one at Taka so I was quite sad. But the xiaolongbao and the prawn thingy is yummy yummy! Shopped around and while we were at ntuc, we saw Desmond Koh! :D And my Dad cheerily went to say hi. Goodness haha.

Ate carrot cake and hokkien mee at Whampoa after that and once again, I'm ever so full! Feeling quite sleepy now. Whoops.

PW meeting at Macritchie reservoir (: It was quite fun actually hehheh cus we spend most of our time catching insects and fishes and it was all quite exciting and fun! In the kampong type of way. hahah! I havent done this since Primary Five? Oh and we saw like a whole family tree of monkeys and a fat and gross iguana feasting on earthworms. haha. Yucks.

Anw, I took two fishes home and one of them (Dolly) died!! ): I'm so depressed ): The other one (Dory) is still alive but apparently on a hunger strike. It doesnt eat the fish food nor the ants I decided to experiment with in case its carnivorous. I dont think it'll last for long.

heh yep! East Coast Park with my beloved squadmates today! haha. At first, there was only Jiahui, Vera and I so we rotted around, ate desserts and Macs before Sakina and Zhixin and Singning came to join us later and we headed to East Coast Park. Rented bikes and we cycled to the jetty area! Sat around and talked and laughed and took loads of photos. hahahahah! Its really such a nice feeling to meet up with them all again!! (: I think we are like the crappiest and lamest and most self-entertaining bunch ever. hahah!

Cycled back and then we left for town! Took neoprints and then we went to Swensens for dinner. After we ate, we started talking about interrupting couples or sth along that lines and I swear I nearly died laughing! HAHAHAH! Cannot take it! Then after that, we walked to taka and ate yummy yummy Venezia! (: (: (: wheee! hahah.

Went home after that. My wonderful dad offered to come and fetch me from Taka and then guess what! I couldn't find the busstop he was at and he left without me cus he said he was obstucting the bus lane ): WAHLAO I was so depressed. Ended up having to take the bus home.
haha.

Went to mug with Kailing at Queenstown Library! Er it was good environment, good company, good weather, but yueqi's brains were absorbing as quickly as a saturated sponge! (rusty already). Nah, no good.

Met up with Zhixin to get our Olevel certs and then Shaz came to join us! (: YAY! I was so happy to see them again! Our squad outing is still on righto? (:

Interact BBQ after that. Food was pretty good and we played with sparklers! So fun!

Saturday
PW meeting at National Library. I swear that place is HUGE cus Reihorng and I spent like twenty minutes looking for each other when we were both outside the building seeing the signs "Victoria St" and "Bugis St" but we just couldnt see each other /: Later Kityeng spent ten minutes looking for us and I spent two minutes looking for Eunice! haha. Increasing vast improvement (: Browsed several books with rh and ky marvelling at how cute insects are (ew) before we headed to lunch with Yong and then back to the library. Ws pretty productive and I discovered a new place to study! Which is.. Level eleven in the National Library! It's super quiet and has plenty of empty tables and such. Who wants to study out! (:

Sunday
Wedding receptions and blah in the afternoon and my sister and I were forced to put on makeup. Ugh. Tried to rub everything off as best as I could before heading for CO concert with Val! I was kinda excited cus its the first CO concert I'm gg to and nice val was telling me what all the instruments are called. hahah! Her knowledge on music is seriously gargantuan! So I'm glad she was there with me (: Cheers for all the CO people! (:
